DLO Mark II STEN Submachine Gun, Class III/
NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial
no. 851070, 9 mm cal., 7 1/4 inch round bbl.,
matte gray finish, metal stock. Manufactured using a receiver tube from Douglas Laurence Oefinger of Stanford,
Connecticut, and a selection of military surplus components, this is an excellent example of the Mark II STEN submachine gun.
One of the signature weapons of World War II, the British STEN was a lightweight, compact and efficient CQB weapon for both
conventional military operations and resistance units across Europe. Blade and peep sights, with DLO markings on the trigger housing, Belgian proofs on the barrel
shroud, “RTL” stamped on the underside of the magazine well, “30808” on the bolt and a broad arrow on the cocking knob. Operation is open bolt, with selector button on the housing. One piece metal buttstock, with cleaning rod.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% of the matte gray parkerized finish, showing mild handling marks and a small amount of scattered pitting. The furniture is in equal condition. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.

Danish Madsen Model 50 Submachine Gun, Class III/NFA C&R Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 56047, 9 mm cal., 8 inch round bbl., black finish, metal stock. Developed in the Netherlands after World War II, the Model 50 submachine gun is a straight blowback open bolt 9mm weapon primarily constructed from metal stampings. The outer shell of the weapon is hinged at the rear, opening up to expose the internals and free the barrel for inspection, cleaning and maintenance, the pistol grip doubling as storage for the included loading tool. Blade front and peep rear sights, with the model, serial number and “MADE IN DENMARK” on the right side of the receiver, sling swivels on the left, and a side- folding tube stock with leather cover. A pair of safety devices are installed, a conventional “F” and “S” marked switch on the left side and a spring loaded grip safety at the rear of the magazine well; while a good two-handed grip is certainly the recommended way to hold a submachine gun, the M50 goes a step further and makes it mandatory. Magazine absent. CONDITION: Very fine, with 90% plus original black finish, showing bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. The leather stock cover has tight stitching and shows minor scuffing. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) that is classified as a “Curios or Relic” as defined in 27 CFR, 478.11.
