Attractive Factory Game Panel Scene Engraved Marlin Model 1898 Slide Action Shotgun - Serial no. 69315, 12 gauge, 30 inch round bbl., blue finish, fancy deluxe checkered walnut stock. Blued Special Smokeless Steel barrel with a single bead sight, standard markings, and choke constriction of .038 inches. The blued receiver displays beautifully executed game scenes showing a flock of four mallards in flight over a marsh scene on the left side and a pair of flying pigeons on the right side situated on the bolt below the
matted sighting flat, with the balance of the action covered by fine arabesque scrollwork and surrounded by wavy line borders. Beautifully figured, multi- point checkered forend and Marlin S-pattern pistol grip stock with factory hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull 13 5/8 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 2 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 90% plus bright original high polish blue finish with the majority of the loss on the tangs which have turned a brown patina, some light cycling wear on the magazine tube, very minor
areas of tiny spotting, minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent Winchester Model
42 Skeet Grade Slide Action Shotgun with Desirable Solid Rib - Serial no. 130116, 410 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1954. Fitted with a single steel bead sight on the matted solid rib 3 inch chamber, and “SKEET” marked choke. Factory “WP” proofs
are stamped on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Mounted with a straight grain multipoint checkered walnut slide handle and pistol grip buttstock with blued steel grip cap and checkered Winchester buttplate. Stock measurements are: 1 7/16 inch drop at the comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at the heel; 13 13/16; weight 6 lbs. 4 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original
