LOT 608 Excellent Winchester Model 12 Slide Action 16 Gauge Shotgun with Original Box - Serial no. 1940348, 16 gauge, 28 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1962. Blued barrel with single bead sight, standard Winchester markings, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and choke marked “MOD”. The blued action has the Winchester “WP” proof and serial number. Nicely figured 11 groove forend and smooth pistol grip stock with Winchester buttplate. Includes the original factory box. Length of pull 14 1/16 inches. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 98% plus bright original high polish commercial blue finish with minor cycling wear. The wood is also excellent with minimal minor handling marks and crisp distinct edges overall. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,500
