Pachmayr Upgraded Engraved
Colt Delta Elite Long Slide
Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial
no. DE12117, 10 mm cal., 7 inch
round bbl., blue finish, stag grips. Frame manufactured in 1987
and subsequently custom upgraded to its current configuration. The long slide has been engraved on the flats and dustcover with floral scroll on a punch- dot background with cross hatched highlights on the
leaves. Fitted with serrated ramp front, and adjustable rear sights, ambidextrous magazine release, extended grip safety, jeweled long barrel, extended slide release, thumb guard, ambidextrous safety, hammer, and flared magazine well.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as Pachmayr Custom
upgraded to current configuration, retaining 98% blue finish with some minor handling marks, crisp engraving and crisp frame and mainspring housing checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,500 - 6,500

Engraved Colt Mk IV Series 70 Government
Model Semi-Automatic Pistol with Factory
Letter and Case - Serial no. 73B0964, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, smooth grips. The included factory letter lists this pistol as chambered in .45 ACP with a 5 inch barrel, blue finish, rosewood double
diamond grips, and furnished with original series 70 roll marks, firing system, titanium firing pin, and fixed steel sights when shipped to John J. Adams Firearms Engraver in Vershire, Vermont on August 3, 2017 in
a shipment of two guns. The letter further remarks
that this pistol was originally shipped without slide
rollmarks, “Government Model” on the left side of the
dust cover, and as consecutively serialized with the
other gun in the shipment. The pistol displays full coverage floral scroll engraving
on a matted background which extends onto the safety, slide release, and trigger. Adams signed the work with a large stylized version of his “intertwined JA” initials under the right grip. Also included is the original Colt hard case, extra magazine, and a hobbyist Kraft style box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall as embellished by Master Engraver John Adams Jr., retaining 99% plus blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent.

Scarce Colt .38 AMU Semi-Automatic Pistol with
Factory Letter - Serial no. 160823, 38 AMU cal., 5
inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. This is a
Colt competition semi-automatic pistol chambered
for the scarce .38 AMU cartridge. The included factory letter indicates this pistol was shipped as a .38 AMU kit with .38 Special magazines to Gil Hebard Guns of Knoxville, Illinois on July 3, 1962. Originally developed by
the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, the .38 AMU is a semi-
rimmed derivative of .38 special, better suited for feeding
through a single stack magazine and an extended case
wall for semi-wadcutter bullets. Fitted with a patridge
blade front sight and Bo-Mar adjustable rear sight, the
scarce caliber marking and Rampant Colt on the left side,
and the one-line Hartford address on the right. The top
of the chamber is marked “COLT .38 AMU”, with a “COLT
.38 SPEC.” marked magazine, serrated hammer, serrated
adjustable trigger, arched serrated mainspring housing, stippled front strap and checkered grips. Includes a hobbyist Kraft style box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retains 98% original blue finish with slight edge wear, minimal handling marks, and crisp grip checkering. Hammer releases to half-cock position on slide release, indicating the sear may need work.

Engraved Colt Gold Cup National
Match Semi-Automatic Pistol with
Factory Letter - Serial no. 1077-NM,
45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1957, the included factory
letter lists the pistol as chambered for .45 ACP with a 5 inch barrel,
blue finish, stocks not listed, and furnished with a flat mainspring
housing when shipped alone to A.L. Knight
Gun Shop of Forth Worth, Texas, on January
28, 1958. Features fixed blade front and
adjustable notch rear sights on the ribbed
slide, with the standard Colt markings
and address on both sides retained and
bordered, along with “H.H.P.” within a
banner located on both sides below the
rear sight. The frame bears the serial
number on the right side, with the trigger guard marked “VP” and “Y” on the left and “4” on the right. Fitted with an adjustable trigger and a set of checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallion inserts. CONDITION: Very fine as custom upgraded to current configuration, retaining 95% plus blue finish with scattered faint scratches on the frame, faint spotting on the grip straps, and an attractive plum coloration on the slide. The grips are also very fine with some slight bruising, otherwise crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Engraved Consecutively Serialized Pair of Colt Gold Cup National Match Semi-Automatic Pistols
-A) Colt Gold Cup National Match Pi no. 70N13706, 45 ACP cal., 5
inch round bbl., nickel/gold
finish, pearl grips. Both pistols manufactured in 1974 in
standard blued configuration
and subsequently custom embellished. The pair features approximately 50% coverage
floral scroll engraving with a
punch dot background on the frame and slide with bursts on the bottom of the frame and triggerguard. The pistols have been nickel plated with gold small parts and are fitted with pearl grips.
CONDITION: Very fine as
custom embellished, retaining
97% replated nickel and gold
finishes with some wear on
the slide and scattered light
spotting, as well as crisp
engraving. The grips show
some discoloration at the top
and a minor hairline crack on
the right grip. Mechanically excellent.
B) Colt Gold Cup National Match Pistol - Serial no. 70N13707, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., nickel/gold finish, pearl grips. As described in “A”.
CONDITION: Very fine as custom embelished, retaining 99% plus replated nickel and gold finishes with a few light handling marks and crisp engraving. Grips are very fine wit some light discoloration at the butt and two hairline cracks on the left panel. Mechanically excellent.
