Exceptional Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Shotgun with Rare Stainless Steel Barrel - Serial no. 493745, 12 gauge, 30 inch round bbl., blue/black finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1926. Single steel bead on the black “Japanned” stainless steel barrel with choke marked full. Winchester “WP” proofs on the top of the barrel and receiver. Mounted on plain figured 18 groove forend and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered Winchester buttplate. Stock Measurements: 1 5/8 inch drop at the comb; 2 1/2
inch drop at the heel, 13 11/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 5 oz. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine overall, retaining 90% original black Japanned finish on the barrel with some wear at the muzzle and around the barrel markings. The receiver retains 97% plus original
blue finish with some wear at the front to the receiver an light spotting on the right side, as well as slide retraction marks on the magazine tube. Wood is very fine with handling marks and most of the original varnish remaining. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500

Serial no. 1610099, 16 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1954. Blued barrel with white front and steel mid bead sights on the matted solid rib, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and choke marked modified. “WP” proofs on the left side of chamber and receiver. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with factory metal grip cap and checkered plastic buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 1/4 inch drop at comb; 1 3/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 3 oz.

CONDITION: Excellent plus, near new in box, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Box is fine with some storage and handling marks and some minor tearing on the end label which remains legible. Estimate: 2,500 - 3,750

Excellent Pre-World War I Winchester Model 1897 Slide Action Riot Shotgun - Serial no. E613338, 12 gauge, 20 3/4 bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1914, with the early solid frame. Single brass front sight bead. The action bar is roll-stamped “MODEL 1897/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK REG. IN U.S.PAT.OFF.” in three lines, and the barrel is marked “12 GA.” and “CYL” along with the Winchester address and patent information. Oval Winchester “W/P” proofmarks are stamped on the top of the barrel and receiver. The serial number “E/613338” is roll-stamped across the bottom of the receiver. Mounted with an 18-groove forend and smooth pistol grip stock fitted with a checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. No U.S. Ordnance or departmental markings are present on the gun, however it is very likely
that this gun was ordered by a police department given the popularity of these riot configuration guns for use in close quarters. Whatever the history of this gun, it is clear that it has been extremely well taken care of due to its excellent condition. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus bright original high polish blue finish, with minimal handling
evidence and light slide retraction wear. The wood is also excellent with a few light dings and rich oil finish. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,500

Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Shotgun with Rare Hydro-Coil Stock and Box - Serial no. 1968654, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, synthetic stock. Manufactured in 1964. Blued steel barrel with dual steel bead sights on the ventilated rib, standard markings, chamber marked 2 3/4 inches, and choke marked full. Mounted in a
pistol grip, multipoint checkered Hydro-Coil stock with black grip cap and Hydro- Coil recoil pad. Includes original box. 14 1/4 inch Length of pull.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with some pitting on
the action bar, some minor handling marks, and some softening of the barrel address. Though the hydro-coil is non functional, the stock is very fine with crisp checkering. Box is fine.

Features a single bead sight, standard barrel markings, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and choke marked “CYL.” Matching numbers on the receiver and barrel collar as well as Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver. Fitted with an 18 groove round forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with plastic Winchester buttplate. Length of pull 13 7/8 inches. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 95% original blue finish with some scattered light handling marks and some light cycling wear. The wood is very fine with some scattered minor dings.
