detailed game scenes on either side consisting of a trio of pheasant on the left in a farm scene and three pigeons in a forest scene on the right. The birds and game scene borders are
rendered raised relief gold inlay. The remaining surfaces of the receiver are engraved with magnificent floral scroll on a matted background. The left side scene is signed “A.BEE” for
the world renowned Master Engraver Angelo Bee. The action has been mated to a wonderfully figured fancy checkered walnut slide handle and buttstock with blued steel grip cap and Winchester buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 3/8 inch drop at the comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at the heel; 13 11/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 5 oz.
CONDITION: Extremely fine as custom embellished by Master Engraver Angelo Bee, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, some slight discoloration on the left game scene, and crisp engraving. Wood is also excellent with limited handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

walnut stock. Manufactured in
1950 and subsequently master
is an iconic American gun, and one of the finest guns ever built on these shores. This particular
gun has been upgraded by an unknown artist who was clearly a master of the craft.
Blued Winchester Steel chopperlump barrels with dual steel bead sights on the matted concave solid rib, 1 1/2 inch wedges of scroll engraving at either breech, standard factory
marking, chokes marked full/full, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The action displays a fine coin finish with a highly attractive rose & scroll engraving surrounding a
trio of fine game bird scenes before spilling off of the action and cascading onto the toplever, triggerguard, and
both tangs. The game scenes consist of a trio of Gambel’s quail in a field scene on the left, a pair of ducks in flight over a pond scene on the right, and a pheasant cock taking
flight in an oval with a matted background, all three of the scenes are cut in detailed deep relief gold inlay. The gun features a gold pivot pin, gold single selective trigger, and
a tang mounted automatic safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend with coin finished and engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with a
factory grip cap and checkered bare butt. Included is an extra matching numbered set of 26 inch barrels featuring matching engraving, “WS-1”/”WS-2” marked chokes, and
2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. Barrel measurements for the 26 inch set (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .671/.671 inches; choke constriction

CONDITION: Very fine overall as upgraded to current configuration, retaining 98% blue, coin, and gold finishes with minor handling evidence, light fading of the markings, a few minor marks in the replacement wood, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
