gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut stock. Blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels with dual bead sights on the matted concave solid rib which is marked with a gold inlaid “20” at the base, single gold inlaid line at either breech, 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and chokes marked “WS-1”/”WS-2”. The blued action displays wonderfully executed gold inlay work consisting of a flushing quail, oak leaves with acorns, and a setter on the left, a pointer, oak leaves and acorns, and a flushing pintail duck on the right, a scaled quail on the underside, and more oak leaves and acorns on the toplever and triggerguard. All of the inlays show exceptional detail and are surrounded by thin gold inlaid linework. The work is signed on the left below the setter “CARGNEL” for renowned Master Engraver Gino Cargnel. The gun features a single selective gold trigger and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Beautifully figured, fancy multi-point checkered and oak leaf carved beavertail forend with blued fittings featuring more of the wonderful gold inlays and a pistol grip stock with blued grip cap and a red rubber recoil pad. Included is an oak & leather takedown case with “F.C.S./12” marked on the lid. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .618/.615 inches; choke constriction .002(jug)/.009 inches; minimum wall thickness .024/.029 inches; 1 7/8 inch drop at comb; 2 7/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 13 oz. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as upgraded by Gino Cargnel, retaining 99% blue and gold finishes with minimal handling evidence, some deterioration at the toe of the recoil pad, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is very fine. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 7,000 - 10,000

vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Single orange bead sight on the Simmons Gun Specialties vent rib with a small

gold inlaid band and light scroll at the muzzle, 3 inch chamber, standard barrel markings, 3 inch chamber and skeet marked choke. The receiver is engraved with detailed bird scenes with a pointer and quail on the right side and a fox and pigeons on the left. The animals are rendered in high detail yellow and white gold inlay with tight scroll and punch dot engraving on the balance of the receiver side. The left side is signed “ABEE” followed by the classic “bee” marking. Fancy checkered extension forearm and pistol grip stock with fleur-de-lis carved borders, hard rubber grip cap, and checkered Winchester buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as embellished and finished by Master Engraver Angelo Bee. 99% of the factory quality blue finish remains with sharp engraving, brilliant gold work, and a few light handling marks. The wood is very fine with attractive grain, crisp checkering, and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 7,500 - 9,500
