Factory Engraved Browning Pigeon Grade Superposed Skeet Shotgun Four Barrel Set with Case - Serial no. 30753S74, 12 gauge, 26 3/8 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1977. Blued steel barrels with dual white bead sights (front bead absent) on the matted vent rib with 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and
chokes marked skeet (**$). French grey action with standard pigeon grade engraving
consisting of a pair of pigeons on either on top of light open scroll, floral motif on the
fences, and two bouquets on the bottom. Fitted with a single trigger and manual selective safety. Mounted in a nicely figured multi-point checkered walnut beavertail forend with Deeley release and engraved fittings and a pistol grip buttstock with ventilated “White Line” recoil pad. Includes a Browning takedown case containing three extra matching number 26 3/8 inch barrels choked skeet in 20 gauge, 28 gauge, and .410 bore respectively. Barrel measurements for the 20 gauge set (U/O): bore nine inches from the breech .625/.626 inches; choke constriction .006/.006 inches; minimum wall thickness .025/.025 inches. Barrel measurements for the 28 gauge set (U/O): .550/.549 inches; choke constriction .005/.005 inches; minimum wall thickness .024/.018 inches. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore nine inches from the breech .729/.728 inches; choke constriction .009/.009 inches; minimum wall thickness .038/.038 inches; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 1 13/16 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches; weight 7 lbs. 12 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence and some small areas showing dried grease on the action. The wood is very fine with a minor marks, two small dings near the toe, and sharp checkering. Case is very fine. The 20 gauge set has an absent front bead, otherwise the extra barrels are all excellent with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,000 - 8,000

rib with 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and chokes marked “**”/”*” (modified/full). French grey action with standard pigeon grade engraving consisting of a pair of pigeons on either on top of light open scroll, floral motif on

Mounted in a nicely figured multi-point checkered walnut forend with Deeley release and engraved fittings and a pistol grip buttstock with “RGS” engraved initial escutcheon and Browning ventilated recoil pad. Includes a leather takedown case with “ROBERT G. SMITH” on the lid and containing an extra matched number 26 inch barrel set choked “**_”/”**” (improved cylinder/modified), two nickel “AF&Co.” snap caps, and a “AF&Co.” marked nickeled oiler. Second barrel set measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .728/.726 inches; choke constriction .012/.017 inches; minimum wall thickness .034/.031 inches. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .728/.731 inches; choke constriction .017/.040 inches; minimum wall thickness .037/.029 inches; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 15/16 inches; weight 7 lbs. 13 oz. original blue and French grey finishes with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. The revarnished wood is very fine with some varnish absent at the toe, a stress line at the upper tang, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The second barrel set is excellent with limited handling marks. The case is excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 7,000

Factory Engraved Belgian Browning 20 Gauge Superposed Grade I Shotgun Two Barrel Set with Case - Serial no. 177PM01349, 20 gauge, 26 3/8 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1980. Blued Special Steel barrels with single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib, standard markings, chokes marked “**”/”*”
(modified/full), and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The blued action features Grade
I floral scroll engraving, “Browning” marking on the underside, a single gold washed trigger, and tang mounted and gold inlaid “S/U O” safety/selector. Exceptionally figured, multi-point checkered Schnable-
tipped forend, and straight grip stock with a Browning buttplate. Includes Browning Naugahyde case. Extra 24 inch barrel set is chambered in .30-’06 Springfield, featuring a ramped beaded blade front sight and folding leaf rear sight, as well as its own forend. Stock measurements: 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 1 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue finish with minimal minor handling evidence and sharp wood checkering. Extra barrel set is also excellent. The case is very good. Mechanically excellent.
