at the upper breech, chokes marked “**_”/”**” (improved cylinder/modified), and 3 inch chambers with ejectors. The French grey receiver is engraved in the Diana Grade pattern with flowing scroll designs surrounding four game scenes depicting mallards
in a marsh on the right, a covey of pheasant in a wooded scene on the left, a pair of quail on the underside, and a
pair of rabbits on the trigger guard. The action is signed “A. BEE” on the both sides beneath the game scene for FN
Master Engraver Angelo Bee. Single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold “S”, “O”, and “U”. Beautifully figured and contrasted multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip buttstock with Browning buttplate. Stock Measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at the heel; 2 3/16 inch drop at the heel; 14 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 11 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and French grey finishes with limited handling marks, a couple minor marks on the buttstock, crisp engraving, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Superposed Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 28122S, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard markings, chokes marked “**”/”*” (modified/full), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The blued sideplated action displays a golden border inlay around a dove with laurels motif
on both the right and left sides. The inlaid border extends to the toplever, both tangs,
and the trigger guard. The left side is signed “VRANCKEN” for Master Engraver Louis Vrancken. The gun features a single trigger and tang mounted safety
selector switch with gold inlaid “O”, “U”, and “S”. Beautifully figured, three-piece multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend with engraved and inlaid fittings and Monte Carlo pistol grip stock with bare-butt checkering. Includes a Browning luggage-style leather case. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .728/.729 inches; choke
constriction .020/.039 inches; minimum wall thickness .034/.025 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 1 11/16 inch drop at heel; 14 5/8 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 5 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue and gold finish with minimal handling marks including a couple light scratches on the left side of the action, and crisp checkering on the stock and forend. Case is fine.
