Single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib, Invector Plus choke system (modified/full installed), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The action displays floral scroll engraving surrounding four gold inlaid game scenes which include a pair of pheasants
on the left, a trio of mallards on the right, a setter on the underside, and a quail
trigger and a tang mounted safety/selector. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved
fittings and straight grip stock with black Browning buttplate. Includes a Browning leatherette takedown case and key. Stock measurements: 1 11/16 inch drop at comb; 2 9/16 inch drop at heel; 13 13/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 9 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue, coin, and gold finishes, limited handling marks, and sharp checkering on the forend and stock. The case is very fine. Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid Browning 20 Gauge Grade VI Over/Under Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 25182NM963, 20 gauge, 26 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1990. Blued Special Steel barrels with single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib, chambers marked 3 inches, and Invector choke tube system (modified/full installed). Blued action with four game scenes consisting of three mallards in a marsh on the right, two
pheasants flying over a field on the left, a setter on the underside, and a quail on the triggerguard all surrounded
by floral scroll. Fitted with a single trigger and tang mounted manual safety/selector. Mounted with a nicely figured, multipoint checkered walnut forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with Browning buttplate. Includes a leather and brass trimmed takedown case containing four extra choke tubes (cylinder, skeet, and two improved cylinder). Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at the comb; 2 3 16 inch drop at the heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 14 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with minimal handling marks, wear on the trigger, and crisp engraving. Wood is very fine with scattered dings and scratches, a series of scuffs on the forend, and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent. Manufactured in 1966. Blued steel barrels with single bead sight (absent) on the matted vent rib, standard markings, chokes marked “**”/”*” (modified/full), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin gray finished action displays the standard Pigeon Grade full coverage floral scroll engraving surrounding scenes of pigeons in flight on the left and right as well as relief carved oak leaf and acorn designs carved at the fences. The action is signed on both sides at the low rear “BA” for and unknown factory engraver. Gold washed single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold inlaid “O”, “U”, and “S”. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with ventilated Pachmayr recoil pad. Stock measurements: drop at the comb 1 9/16 inches; drop at the heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 13 3/8 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 9 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue and 95% original French grey finishes with minor handling evidence along with minor dings and dents in the stock and forend with crisp checkering. Vent rib is loose and there is a light ding on the lower muzzle. Mechanically excellent. The bottom barrel under the forearm is laser engraved with the name of a previous owner. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered walnut forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with engraved blue grip cap and checkered buttplate.
