Both Iconic and Historic Tom Selleck Documented Shiloh-Sharps Model 1874 Single Shot Falling Block Rifle that was used in the Motion Picture “Quigley Down Under” with Factory Letter and Accessories - Serial no. 8887, 45-110 cal., 34 inch octagon bbl., blue/casehardened/ gold finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in Big Timber, Montana, the included factory letter lists this rifle as one of three built by Shiloh Rifle Manufacturing Company for the motion picture “Quigley Down Under,” starring Tom Selleck
as Matthew Quigley. It confirms the current configuration, including the addition of a patchbox on the right of the buttstock, 34 inch octagon barrel chambered for .45-110, and the encircled initials “M/Q” gold inlaid into the right side of the receiver.
