CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, an attractive plum hue to the action, and crisp engraving. The wood is very fine with a couple light scratches near the toe, and some slight softening of the forend checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent.

rib, gold inlaid “FAUSTI - ITALY” on the left of the upper chamber, 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and 2014 dated Italian proofs on the flat. The casehardened sideplated action displays attractive multi-color gold inlaid scrollwork with gold inlaid pheasant roosters on either sideplate and a solitary rooster on the underside. The work is signed “M. Richard” on the triggerplate. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted manual safety/selector switch.
Contrasting walnut forend and straight grip stock with multi-point checkering, matching blue and gold fittings, blue and gold grip cap, and blue and gold heel and toe plates around the checkered bare butt.
