Manufactured in 1930 and is one of just 330 built in this configuration per page 291 of “The Parker Story” by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote. Blued barrels with dual white bead
sights on the matted concave solid rib which is marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN, CT. TITANIC STEEL.” and 2 3/4 chambers with automatic ejectors. The casehardened action features standard DHE
Grade engraving consisting of floral scrollwork surrounding a setter on the right, a flock of mallards on the underside, and a pointer on the left. The gun features a double triggers and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved
fittings and pistol grip stock with “WM.METZ/1940” in inscription oval, Parker grip cap, and a Hawkins

Scarce Hunter Arms Co./L. C. Smith .410 Bore Field Grade Double Barrel Shotgun with Factory ed as a Gift from Henry Ford - Serial no. FW142224, 410 gauge, 26 inch

Grades built in as a .410 bore out of a total of 195,205 per page 177 of William Brophy’s “L. C. Smith Shotguns”. Blued steel barrels with a
single brass bead sight on the matted solid rib, standard markings, 3 inch chambers with a single extractor, and chokes measured full/full.
According to "L.C. Smith Shotguns" by Brophy, only 2,375 L.C. Smith Field Grade shotguns were produced in .410 bore.
The casehardened action is unadorned aside from the “L. C. SMITH” marking on either lockplate and features double triggers and a tang
mounted automatic safety. Straight grain, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock
with hard rubber grip cap and buttplate. The included factory letter confirms the above configuration when the gun pped to Lou J. Eppinger Inc. (maker of the famous Eppinger lures) of Dearborn, MI, on October 25, 1935. Also included

LOT 3681 Excellent L. C. Smith 20 Gauge Field Grade Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. FWS19566, 20 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured between 1946 and 1950. Blued Armor Steel barrels with single brass bead sight on the matted solid rib, standard markings, chambers measured 2 3/4 inches with extractor, and choke constrictions of .024/.032 inches. The casehardened action is simply marked “L. C. SMITH” on either side and feature double triggers and a tang mounted automatic safety. Multi-point checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and buttplate. Includes a full box
of Remington Express 20 gauge magnum shells. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 13 oz.
