as well as floral scroll engraving on the barre
and a scrimshaw longhorn steer head on the
left grip. Includes commemorative case and
Texas Sesquicentennial patch
and challenge coin.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and gold finishes with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.

Association “The Legend II” Tribute to Rodeo Single Action
Army Revolver with Holster Rig and Factory Letter - Serial
no. 042LEGEND, 45 Long Colt cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/
casehardened/gold finish, rosewood grips. The included factory
letter lists this revolver by special serial number in .45 Colt with a
5 1/2 inch barrel, royal blue and casehardened finishes, rosewood
grips with “NFR” (National Finals Rodeo) medallions, machine
engraving in 24 karat gold, and a glass top walnut case with red
pillow style interior (not included) when shipped to Anthony
Pulcinella in North Haven, Connecticut on October 30, 1998.
The letter further remarks that this revolver was sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys
Association and describes each of the special edition features. Includes a generic hard case and
leather holster rig with Colt medallion on the holster.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited
handling marks and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Holster rig is excellent.

Cased Engraved Colt Professional Rodeo Association “THE LEGEND” Single Action Army Revolver - Serial no. LEGEND0079, 45 Long Colt cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., nickel/gold finish, horn grips. Features blade front and frame notch rear sights. The gun is adorned with flourishes of gold highlighted floral scroll on either side of the muzzle and between the cylinder flutes.
The right side of the barrel is
engraved “THE LEGEND” and
the right of the frame “NFR
1996” ahead of a pair of spurred cowboy boots, all of which is
gold highlighted. The backstrap displays a rodeo cowboy on a bucking bronco with
“PROFESSIONAL RODEO COWBOYS ASSOCIATION” down the backstrap and three
horseshoes on the butt. The horn grip panels have NFR (National Finals Rodeo) medallions. Includes a glass top hardwood display case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel finish with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.

The letter further remarks that the revolver has been chemically etched with the special edition features. Includes the aforementioned presentation case. CONDITION: Excellent overall with minimal handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with light storage and handling marks and some slight interior staining.

The included factory letter lists this revolver as having a 4 3/4 inch barrel chambered in .45 Long Colt with royal blue finish, and confirms the grip material, case, engraving, and the gold inlays. The letter also states this revolver was part of the Colt Archives collection for use as a reference piece by the Colt Custom Shop, Engineering, and Historical Departments. Standard commemorative markings and features. Includes a commemorative display case and a John Wayne Commemorative belt buckle.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, and an attractive coloration on the grips. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent.
