Factory Engraved Belgian Browning 20 Gauge Superposed Pigeon Grade Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 62304V70, 20 gauge, 26 3/8 inch vent rib bbl., coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1970. Single bead sight on the vent rib, chokes marked “**-”/”**”, and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin gray finished action displays the standard Pigeon Grade full coverage floral scroll engraving surrounding scenes of pigeons in flight and relief carved oak leaf and acorn designs on the fences. Gold washed single trigger and safety/selector with gold inlaid “O”, “U”, and “S”. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with Browning buttplate. Includes a Browning Naugahyde case. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech 0.624/0.624 inches; choke constriction 0.007/0.015 inches; minimum wall thickness 0.034/0.035 inches; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 14 3/16 inches; weight 6 lbs. 1 oz.

Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with Browning recoil pad. Includes factory box. Single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib, standard markings, chokes marked “**_”/”**”, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The blued rounded action features Grade I floral scroll engraving, “Super Light” marking on the underside, a single gold trigger, and tang mounted safety/selector. Multi-point checkered Schnabel forend and straight grip stock with Browning buttplate. Includes a Browning Naugahyde takedown case. Stock measurements: 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 1/16 inch drop at heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull;
weight 5 lbs. 12 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with some high edge wear, some marring around the top lever, and crisp engraving. Wood is very fine with scattered dings and scratches and overall crisp checkering. Case is very good. Mechanically excellent.

The coin action displays game scenes on both sides flanked by scroll, the top right of the action is marked “Made in Belgium/Original Auto. 5”, and “Limited Edition” is on the left. The lower rear corner of the left side of the action is signed “ROMAINVILLE B.” Nicely figured multi-point checkered forend and buttstock with Browning buttplate. With Browning Naugahyde takedown case and an extra 26 inch barrel with 3 inch chamber and modified choke. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at the comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at the heel; 14 3/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 6 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and coin finishes with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Wood is very fine with scattered dings and scratches mostly concentrated on the buttstock and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is fine with one absent foot.
