Scarce Round Barrel Winchester Model 90 Slide Action Takedown Rifle - Serial no. 848476, 22 L cal., 23 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1935 as a late third model with the scarce factory fitted round barrel. These barrels began to appear on Model 1890 rifles late in production as production of the Model 62 was beginning to start. Octagon barrels from Model 1890s were available on the Model
62 and round 62 barrels were offered on the 1890 through special order or as a Model 1890 parts cleanup. This example also shows the grooved Model
62 style hammer that Winchester slide action expert and author Ned Schwing points to as a sign of an original factory round barreled Model 1890 assembled during
the parts cleanup. It has the standard round barrel markings as well as factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Mounted with a twelve-groove slide handle and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus bright original high polish blue finish with some very light muzzle and cycling wear, and some mild thinning on the buttplate. The wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,250
LOT 3094 Excellent Winchester Model 61 Magnum Slide Action Rifle in .22 WMR - Serial no. 347943, 22 Winchester magnum RF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1963. The Model 61 Magnum was only manufactured from 1960 to 1963 after the .22 Win. Mag. R.F. was developed in 1959. Features beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, standard barrel markings, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, and matching
serial numbers on the upper and lower receiver groups. Fitted with a flat bottom grooved walnut forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered plastic
Winchester buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish with minor fading on the front receiver face and minimal handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

Excellent Pre-World War II Winchester Model 61 Octagon Barrel Slide Action Rifle in Scarce 22 Long Rifle - Serial no. 28767, 22 LR cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1937. The rifle is in a scarce .22 Long Rifle configuration with an octagon barrel, which Winchester offered from 1932-1946. It is fitted with a beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight. The upper left barrel flat is stamped
with the Winchester legend ending in “-.22 LONG R.-,” and the factory oval proof is on the barrel and receiver. Mounted on an 11-groove forearm and
smooth pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% original blue finish with some high edge wear, a slide retraction mark, and a few dings and scratches on lower receiver. Stock is very fine with scattered dings and scratches as well as a few hairline cracks around the tangs. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 3,750
