Very Scarce Pre-World War II Winchester Deluxe Model 61 Slide Action Rifle in .22 L.R. Shot Only - Serial no. 45056, 22 shot gauge, 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1939. Fitted with a single steel bead front sight. Factory barrel model markings with the desirable “-22 L.R.- FOR SHOT ONLY-” caliber marking. Winchester factory oval proofs on the Rutledge counterbored barrel and on the grooved receiver at the breech. Mounted
with a multipoint checkered slide handle and pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and some light high edge wear. Wood is very fine with a few dings and scratches and an attractive raised grain. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 6,000

adjustable notched tangent rear sights, standard barrel markings, Winchester “WP” proofs on
the barrel and receiver at the breech, and matching serial numbers on the receiver and barrel assembly. Fitted with a smooth walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered blue steel buttplate. Includes
original box and manual.

Fitted with a flat bottom grooved walnut forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered plastic Winchester buttplate. Includes correct period box, two manuals, warranty card, and hang tag.
