Grouping of
Desirable Federal
.470 Nitro
Express Safari
Rifle Cartridges -
Originally
developed in 1907
by Joseph Lang,
almost exclusively
for use in double
rifles made for
dangerous game hunting. The cartridge was developed due to several colonies of the British Empire banning the .450 Nitro Express cartridge because the bullets could be removed and used to make cartridges for stolen Martini-Henry rifles chambered in .577/.450. This grouping includes nine factory sealed, Federal Premium boxes of Premium Safari Cape-Shok cartridges with 500 grain hollow point bullets. Each of the boxes contains a full compliment of 20 cartridges for a total of 180 rounds. CONDITION: Excellent overall, all of the boxes remain factory sealed and have some light handling/ storage wear on some of the labels. The cartridges themselves are also excellent. A must-have grouping to feed your double rifle on your next dangerous game hunt!
