Factory Engraved Holland & Holland Bolt Action Magazine Rifle with Zeiss Scope and Case -
Serial no. 28086, 375 H&H magnum cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue/coin
finish, walnut stock. Manufactured between 1911 and 1913 per page 363 of Donald Dallas’“Holland & Holland:
‘The Royal’ Gunmaker”. Built with a blued steel barrel featuring a ramped blade front sight, a three-leaf (one
standing, two folding) rear sight on the short rear quarter rib, front sling stud, “HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98 NEW
BOND STREET LONDON. WINNERS OF ALL THE FIELD RIFLE TRIALS” marked on the top, “HOLLAND’S/PATENT/
CARTRIDGE/375 H&H MAGNUM” marked at the rear, and period London nitro proofs. The Mauser style action
is also blued and displays highly attractive scroll engraving which extends to the bolt, bolt knob, and the set
of Talley scope rings that hold a Zeiss Diavari V 3-9x42mm T* scope and shows an import mark. The remaining
metal components are coin finished including the fine scroll engraved lower tang, the triggerguard which also
bears the serial number, and the floorplate which is marked “4/CARTRIDGES” at the front. The rifle is mounted to a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with an ebony forend tip, coin finished and engraved grip cap, raised cheekpiece, “JME” in the gold inscription oval, and a red rubber recoil pad. Includes a factory full length wood and canvas case.
CONDITION: Very fine as professionally refurbished, retaining 99% blue and coin finishes, a few tiny subsurface pits on the barrel, minor handling evidence, minor scratches on the bolt handle, and sharp checkering on the stock. The optics are sharp. Case is good. Mechanically excellent.

LOT 1519 Dakota Arms Model 76 Bolt Action Rifle - Serial no. 3005, 300 Win magnum cal., 23 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured with a sightless barrel fitted with a sling eye in the middle and marked with the caliber on the left side. The receiver is marked with the Dakota Arms address, model marking, and serial number on the left. The action is topped with a set of scope blocks. Mounted in a magnificently figured multipoint checkered walnut stock with blued steel pistol grip cap and Dakota Arms solid recoil pad. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with a few minor handling marks, some scratches on the stock, and overall crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Evan Williams Engraved Mauser Standard Model Bolt Action Sporting Rifle with Swarovski Scope - Serial no. 18622, 270 Win cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Built off of a Mauser receiver and manufactured by William Evans of London, U.K., in 1988 as listed on page 107 of “British Gunmakers: Volume One” by Nigel Brown. Manufactured without sights, with engraved bordering on the chamber with London proofs on the right side and import mark on the underside of the barrel. The left side of the receiver is marked with the Mauser address, with “crown/G-P” proof on the right. The bolt handle is drooped with an engraved flower on the handle. With engraved borders on the magazine floor plate along with “EW” monogram, “CAL./.270”/WIN.,” and the serial number within an engraved banner on the trigger guard. Fitted in a beautifully figured multi-point checkered walnut stock with horn forend trip, horn grip cap, shadowline cheek piece, blank gold escutcheon, and red rubber buttpad. Includes a matching numbered set of rings and a Swarovski Habicht 4-12x50 mm scope. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as built and embellished by William Evans, retaining 90% plus blue finish with slight thinning, limited minor spotting, and a few light scrapes. The stock is very fine with minor handling marks and crisp checkering. Scope is excellent with clear optics and a crisp reticle. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 4,000
