Gorgeous Pair of Factory Master Giacomo Badillini Signed and Game Scene Engraved Perazzi SC3 Over/Under Shotguns -A) Perazzi SC3 Shotgun -
“I” or “II” and a straight grip stock with a blank gold inscription oval and a checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed at 18.7mm (.736 inches) and
Serial no. 126488, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Both guns are built with blued steel barrels featuring a single bead sight on the matted flat vent rib which is marked with a gold “I” or “II” at the base, standard Perazzi markings, 2003 dated Italian proof marks, and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels of both guns are fitted to coin finished boxlock actions which display beautifully executed scroll engraving surrounding a trio of game scenes before extending to the triggerguard and pieced toplever which is marked with
a gold “I” or “II”. The game scenes on gun “A” consist of a quail in flight on the left side of the action, a pointing setter in field on the underside, and a rooster pheasant in flight over a field on the right while the “B” gun shows the same subjects on the underside and left side but a duck descending on the right. Both guns are signed “Badillini” to
the right of the trigger for Italian Master Engraver Giacomo Badillini. Each of the guns feature a single selective gold trigger and
a tang mounted manual safety with a gold inlaid “S” safe indicator. The guns are both fitted with a highly-figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved coin fittings including the Deeley style latch with a gold
measured .735/.737 inches; Briley chokes (improved modified/light modified installed); minimum wall thickness .035/.036 inches; 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 5/16 inch drop at heel; 15 9/16 inch length of pull;
cast-off; weight 7 lbs. 7 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering
