Imperial German “1911” Dated
DWM Model 1908 First Issue Unaltered
Military Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol with XIII Army Corps Unit Marking
and Holster - Serial no. 9058e, 9 mm Luger
cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured on contract for
the Imperial German military, this pre-World
War I DWM Model 1908 Military Luger was
manufactured without a stock lug or hold-open
device, and managed to avoid being retrofit for
the latter during its service life. Features fixed
sights, with “1911” date marked chamber and
“DWM” monogram on the front toggle link. Three
“Crown/Gothic letter” military proofs are pr
on the right side of the barrel extension,
with Imperial eagle firing proofs on the
extension, barrel and breech block, and
traditional “GESICHERT” and “GELADEN”
markings on the lower safety position
and extractor. Matching visible serial numbers
on the barrel and frame, with matching “58” partials on
small components. The front strap is unit marked “A.M.XIII.6.11.” for
weapon number 11 of the 6th Field Artillery Munitions Column, XIII (Royal
Wurttemberg) Army Corps. Fitted with a pair of checkered walnut grips
and a replacement nickel finished magazine with unmarked hardwood
base. Includes a “F.BIERENDREIER/KEHL A/RH.” manufacturer marked
brown leather flap holster, with “UR14/1911” in stamp, “1911” stamp, and
“SGT. BOYCE/D. Coy” written in the interior, along with a cleaning rod, takedown tool, and extra magazine with hardwood base numbered to another pistol. The upper lip of the holster is double stamped with the unit mark “R.R.13.33.” for weapon number 33 of the 13th Reserve Infantry Regiment.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% plus blue and 60% straw colors with limited minor edge wear, minor handling marks, limited minor spotting, as well as smooth brown patina visible on the takedown lever, trigger, muzzle, and front sight base. The grips are also very fine with crisp checkering. The holster is fine with scattered light handling evidence and defined markings. Mechanically excellent.

walnut grips. This is one of 17,874
Model 1906/24 pistols reportedly
manufactured by Waffenfabrik Bern
for the Swiss military between c.
1924-1933. Fixed sights, with a blank
chamber area, Geneva cross above
“WAFFENFABRIK/BERN” on the front
toggle link, “+/M” on the left of the
barrel extension and small Geneva
cross stamps on multiple components.
The walnut grips have the distinctive
smooth borders. Unmarked nickel
finished magazine with walnut base. All
matching visible serial numbers. Includes
a correct Swiss military pattern brown
leather holster with H. Gisler maker marking,
and leather suspension strap.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 90% original blue finish with some finish wear
and minor freckling concentrated on the rear grip strap and grip safety, and 80% plus straw
finish on the small components. Grips are very fine with a few light handling marks, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Holster is fine.

Mauser Bolo Broomhandle Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 453582,
7.63 mm Mauser auto cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish,
hardwood grips. Blade front and 500 meter tangent rear sights, with
“WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF a/N” marking on the top of the
chamber area and “WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A NECKAR”
on the right side of the frame. The left flat of the barrel is marked with
a commercial “Crown/Crown/U” proof, and the hammer bears the “NS”
New Safety markings. Fitted with a set of 22 groove grips.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus of the original blue finish, showing some light scratches on the
barrel, scattered spotting and handling marks, minor yellowing of the bright components and light
handling marks overall. The grips are very good, with minor dents. Mechanically excellent.

DWM Model 1900 American Eagle
Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Accessories - Serial no. 7857, 7.65 mm Luger Auto cal., 4
3/4 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in a
serial number range of 2,000-19,000, the Model 1900 was DWM’s first true
commercial production Luger, and the “American
Eagle” variant was intended specifically for
export to the lucrative United States market.
These Lugers have early features such as a grip
safety, recessed breech bolt, dished toggles with
toggle lock on the side. Features fixed blade front
and notch rear sights, “American eagle” crest on
the chamber, and “DWM” monogram on the front
toggle link. The barrel is stamped with a serial
number to match the frame, while matching
“57” partials are marked on the takedown
lever, trigger, side plate, both toggle links,
extension, and grip safety. It is fitted with
walnut checkered grips marked “A” on the
interior and nickel finish magazine with unmarked
hardwood base. Includes an extra nickel finish magazine with
unmarked hardwood base, takedown tool, punch, cleaning rod, segmented cleaning rod,
and bore brush.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 75% faded oversized blue finish and 40% refinished straw colors with orange/ brown patina on the muzzle, front sight, and straw colored parts, thinning and milky brown patina on the grip straps, limited minor spotting, and minor handling marks. The replacement grips are very fine with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Danish Contract Pieper Bergmann Model 1910 Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 8771, 9 mm cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. Originally designed by Theodor Bergmann, this
example was manufactured by the Pieper firm of Herstal-Liege, Belgium,
and is one of 4,840 of the variation ordered by Denmark in 1910 for
military use, with deliveries completed by 1912. The Danish contract Model 1910 pistols had slight
improvements over the Model 1908 that preceded it, including semicircular cutouts at the bottom
of the magazine well for use with magazines using concentric gripping surfaces, an “S” shaped
mainspring, enlarged magazine catch and slightly larger grips. Features fixed blade front and notch
rear sights, checkered walnut grips with a lanyard loop on the butt, left side of the receiver marked “BREVETE./S.G.D.G.” followed by the three-line Pieper address and Bergmann’s patent marking, Belgian
proofs on the right of the barrel, receiver, and frame, Danish contract/property number “2537” marked at the right rear of the slide, and Danish “crown/D” acceptance stamp on the left of the frame. Matching serial number located underneath the front flat of the frame, on some of the internal components, on the magazine currently in the pistol, and stamped into the interior of both grip panels.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% original arsenal blue finish with limited minor edge wear, limited light spotting/pitting along with signs of cleaning/thinning of the affected areas (primarily on the right side of the extension), and minor handling marks. The grips are also very fine with a light scratch in the left panel and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
