flats showing 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. Highly attractive coin finished sidelock action displaying deep carved fences and nicely executed floral scroll engraving surrounding relief gold inlaid game scenes depicting
a lion preparing to pounce on a zebra, a cheetah about to engage an antelope, the triggerguard has a monkey, the pierced toplever shows a cape buffalo, and the underside shows an roaring bull elephant over “V. BERNARDELLI SPA.” The engraving is signed on the triggerplate “inc. Sabatti Bertarini”. The gun features bushed firing pins, a single trigger, cocking indicators, and a tang mounted safety. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with coined engraved fittings and an inlaid gold Bernardelli crest along with the straight grip semi-perch belly stock with checkered bare butt. Includes a wood & leather takedown case. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine

pull; weight 7 lbs. 4 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% original blue, coin, and gold finishes with some light surface oxidation inside the barrel matting and otherwise minor handling evidence.
