SR-25 Mk 11 MOD 0 Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle with Scope and Deployment Case - Serial
no. K10739, 7.62x51mm NATO (308) cal., 20 inch round bbl.,
black finish, synthetic stock. This is a highly desirable example of an
 iconic Mk 11 MOD 0 rifle, adopted by U.S. SOCOM (Special Operations Command) as a dedicated semi-automatic sniper system in May 2000, and subsequently used extensively throughout the Global War on Terror by the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and special forces units. According to the consignor, this rifle was manufactured on October 10, 2001 and sold on April 12, 2002, and is
one of a reported 100 contract overrun examples released by Knight’s Armament following the completion of the Navy SEAL contract. Features an Obermeyer 20 inch barrel manufactured without threads at the muzzle as correct for the Mk 11 MOD 0 and fitted with a Picatinny gas block with mounting collar for a silencer (not included), the barrel is surrounded by a free- floating Knight’s Armament RAS Picatinny rail forend with a Harris S-LM bipod on the lower rail and rail covers for grip, with a slot in the top front section for the gas block mounted flip-up
front sight, flip-up 200-600 meter rear sight, A2 style pistol grip and fixed stock, and fitted with a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x40 mm Long Range scope. Standard marking and features on the upper and lower receivers, with matching numbers on both, and matching number “K10739” along with the part number “KM50166” on the bolt head. Includes its original Pelican 1700 deployment case with matching handwritten numbers taped on the outside, manual, bore guide, cleaning rod, cleaning kit, two extra 10-round magazines, three extra 20-round magazines, Turner Saddlery leather sling, Tenebraex Corp. killFLASH Model 40 LTC-ARD anti-reflection device for the scope, and Butler Creek scope lens covers.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retains 99% original black finish with a wear spot on the deflector and a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Scope is also excellent with crisp clear optics. Case is fine. This is a rare opportunity for the U.S. military collector to acquire a Knight’s Mk 11 MOD 0 sniper rifle with its deployment case!
