with Accessories and Factory Letter -A) Colt Model
Third Model Dragoon Revolver - Serial no. 24510, 44
percussion cal., 7 3/8 inch part octagon bbl., blue/
casehardened/gold finish, smooth grips. Covered
in factory type “C” beautiful floral scroll
engraving on a punch dot background
and 24k gold inlays. Two gold inlaid
bands on the barrel, one at the muzzle
and one 2 3/4” from the breech, with
gold border around the case hardened
frame. Geometric pattern at the top of
the gold plated grip straps. “COLT ENG”
is found on the front strap under the left
grip panel. Marked “SET No 4” ahead of
the trigger guard and “1 of 50” on the
right of frame. The included factory letter
confirms the current configuration and
states that the set was engraved by A. A.
White Engraving Co. when it was shipped
to Jerry Berman and Sons of San Bernadino, CA, on December 12, 1978. Also included is cap
tin, powder flask, and bullet mold for each gun inside the walnut display case that houses both
guns as well as documents including the original invoice for the revolvers.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, showing 98% original finishes, with minor handling evidence, and light age cracking in the grips. Mechanically excellent. B) Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver - Serial no. 24793, 36 percussion cal., 7 3/8 inch octagon bbl., blue/ casehardened/gold/silver finish, smooth grips. As “A” other than the silver plated grip straps.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original finishes, limited handling evidence, some tarnishing around the trigger guard, and light age cracking in the grips. Mechanically excellent. The case and accessories are also excellent with minor storage wear. Estimate: 5,000 - 8,000

Cased Howard Dove Signed and Engraved United States International Muzzle Loading Team Colt Model 1862 Police Percussion Revolver - Serial no. U.S.I.M.L.T.-3, 36 cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., French grey finish, walnut grips. This modern reissue Model 1862 revolver was professionally embellished by Master Engraver Howard Dove, who signed the back strap with “HM DOVE- Colt ENGRI-82-220” under the grips. Howard Dove was regarded as the “Official Engraver” by the Colt Collectors Association and is
one of only two engravers in modern times to work for both Colt and Winchester at the same time. Standard markings and features, with 50% floral and scroll coverage with punch dot backgrounds and stamped with the U.S. International Muzzle Loading Team serial number. Founded in 1976, the USIMLT is a non-profit corporation that recruits the best muzzleloading shooters from across the nation to compete in the Muzzle Loading Associations International Confederation (MLAIC) World Championship Events. CONDITION: Excellent overall as master embellished by Howard Dove, with traces of original blue finish, otherwise
intentionally rubbed to French gray. Nearly all varnish retained on grips. Mechanically good. The case is fine.

Alvin A. White Signed Engraved Gold and Silver Plated Colt Black Powder Series L. D. Nimschke Heritage Guild 3rd Model Dragoon Percussion Revolver with Carved Eagle Grips, Presentation Case, and Engraver Letter - Serial no. 24855, 44 cal., 7 1/2 inch part round bbl., silver/gold finish, carved grips. Manufactured between 1980 and 1982, this revolver has been subsequently engraved by Master Engraver Alvin A. White to commemorate legendary Master Engraver L. D. Nimschke. The barrel features a wavy band at the muzzle with a spray to either side of the front sight and an intertwining line around, and a larger spray coming off the barrel lug. The lug is engraved to match with Nimschke style scroll and checkerboard patterns with “L. D. Nimschke./ENGRAVER/1832-1904” hand cut on the left side. The frame, triggerguard, and back strap display even more Nimschke pattern scroll on a punch dot background
with a wavy line at the recoil lug, a fan at the top of the back strap, and flourishes between the nipples of the cylinder. The hammer is engraved with the ever iconic wolf’s head motif. The barrel, frame, triggerguard, and back strap have been elegantly silver plated with the trigger, wedge, loading lever, cylinder, and hammer plated in gold. The work is signed “A.A. WHITE ENGR.S” under the grip on the left side of the triggerguard. Fitted with a magnificently carved dual American Eagle grip. Included with the revolver is a The Heritage guild display case and a Adams & Adams Engraving letter listing the revolver in its current configuration as engraved by A. A. White.
CONDITION: Excellent overall as professionally embellished by Master Engraver Alvin A. White, retaining 99% plus silver and gold plating with minimal handling marks and crisp engraving.
Mechanically excellent.
