Documented Antique Winchester Deluxe Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle with Factory Letter - Serial no. 39591, 30 WCF cal., 26 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, deluxe walnut stock. Manufactured in 1898 per the Winchester Arms Collectors Association, the included factory letter lists the rifle in .30 caliber with an octagon barrel, plain trigger, and a fancy checkered pistol grip stock when received at the warehouse on 1 February 1899 and shipped the same day in order number 21133. The top barrel flat is marked with the standard two-line address and the caliber marking at the breech. The two-line nickel steel marking is on the upper left flat. The upper tang has the three-line model, trademark, and patent information, and the serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. The left side of the lower tang is marked “6890 XXX”, with “6890” repeated on the butt of the stock and inside the buttplate. It is fitted with a German silver blade front sight and a three-leaf “Winchester Express” rear sight. It is mounted with a nicely figured, H-pattern checkered forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retains 40% of the original blue finish with some mild high spot and edge wear showing mostly a smooth grey patina. The wood is very good showing moderate wear and some scattered minor handling marks, with the checkering mostly worn. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,500 - 7,500

Very Fine Winchester Model 1886 Lightweight Lever Action Rifle with Factory Letter - Serial no. 136880A, 33 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1905. The top of the barrel is stamped with the two line address ahead of the rear sight and “33 W.C.F.” at the breech. The Winchester oval proof is marked on the top of the barrel and receiver
at the breech. The upper tang is marked “MODEL 1886/WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK.” The
two patent dates and serial number are marked on the lower tang. Ramped Lyman beaded blade front sight and
adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. Blue finish with casehardened hammer and lever, and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a flat checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. The accompanying
factory letter verifies the rifle configuration, caliber, round barrel, plain trigger, 1/2 magazine, shotgun butt, that it was received in the warehouse on December 28, 1905, and shipped out to order number 50702 on August 1, 1906.
CONDITION: Very fine. The rifle retains 85% plus original blue finish with some minor muzzle wear, edge wear, some minor
flaking on the upper tang and some thinning on the underside of the receiver. The sides of the receiver have several minor scratches and dings. Most of the original vivid case colors remain on the hammer and lever with
a smooth gray patina on the balance. The wood is also very fine showing some scattered minor dents and scratches. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,000

CONDITION: Fine, retains 60% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey-brown patina and some scattered brown speckling. 30% of the original nitre blue remains on the loading gate. The reoiled wood is very good with a minor crack on each side at the toe and some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500

Very Fine Antique Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle in .25-20 W.C.F. - Serial no. 164265, 25-20 WCF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Per the Madis serial number date published by Winchester, this rifle is legally an antique. The Winchester Collectors Association indicates the rifle was manufactured in 1901. This is a fine example of a standard configuration Winchester Model 1892 rifle in the desirable .25-20 W.C.F. The top barrel flat is marked with the standard two-line address and caliber marking at the breech. The upper tang has the standard three-line model, trademark, and patent marking, and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. It is fitted with a set of “Sporting” sights, including a German silver blade front and elevation adjustable buckhorn rear. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retains 60% of the original blue finish, 50% of the vibrant original case colors, and 50% of the bright original nitre blue on the loading gate with some light handling wear primarily on high spots and some light scratches on the sides of the receiver. The wood is very good with some scattered light handling marks and a minor gouge/chip to the right of the upper tang. Mechanically excellent.
LOT 1042 Antique Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 468519B, 38 WCF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1893, the Winchester Model 1873 is known as one of the guns that “won the west” and was popularly paired with a Colt Single Action Army revolver in the same caliber. This Model 1873 is a third model, with the integral dust cover rail and dust cover
with gripping serrations at the rear. The top barrel flat is marked with the two-line address/King’s patent marking and the caliber is
marked at the breech. The caliber marking is repeated on the bottom of the cartridge elevator, serial number is on the lower tang, and the model designation is on the
