The actions are fitted with single non selective triggers and tang mounted manual selective safeties with gold inlaid “S” markers. The pair
are mounted beautifully contrasted multipoint checkered walnut forends with engraved fittings and Deeley releases, and pistol grip stocks
with leather wrapped recoil pads. Included with
the set is a leather wrapped Beretta double gun
takedown case with brass plaque reading “Sheldon
Fireman” on the front and an extra barrel with 2 3/4 inch
chambers and choke tube system (modified/full installed).
Extra barrel measurements: bore measured nine inches from the breech .725/.727; minimum wall thickness.032/.031 inches. Barrel and stock measurements: bore measured nine inches from the breech .729/.726; minimum wall thickness .035/.034; 1 3/8 inch drop at the comb; 2 1/16 inch drop at the heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 2 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and coin finishes with some light handling marks, a dent in the rib, and crisp engraving. Wood is very fine with dings and scratches concentrated on the butt and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine. Extra barrel is excellent. B) Beretta SO6EELL Shotgun - Serial no. C16147B, 12 gauge, 32 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. As described in “A”. Barrel and stock measurements: bore measured nine inches from the breech .726/.725; minimum wall thickness .048/.045; 1 5/16 inch drop at the comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at the heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs 4 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and coin finishes with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Wood is very fine with a small chip in the varnish on the varnish, otherwise minor handling marks, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 35,000 - 55,000
