Very Scarce Mauser Banner “1939” Dated
“Eagle/K” Police Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol Rig with Two Matching Magazines and 1939
Dated Police Holster - Serial no. 7410v, 9 mm Luger
cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Fixed
sights, with a “1939” dated chamber, Mauser “Banner”
on the front toggle link, and the very scarce early “Eagle/K”
(only 600 estimated made in 1939) police proof on the right side of the receiver,
with the “crown/crown/U” commercial proofmark stamped on the left side of the
receiver and the breechblock. The sear safety spring is present over the side plate,
and no cuts have been made for a magazine well safety. Numbers are matching overall,
including the checkered grips and both of the included blued/alloy magazines, the spare
also stamped “+” on the base. With a black leather police pattern holster, with “SHAMBACH/
BERLIN/1939” and a police-style eagle stamp between the belt loops, a
faint hand-marked name (possibly “Flich”) inside the flap, and an
unmarked takedown tool.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus original blue
finish, showing some bright edge wear and handling
marks overall, and light scratching around the sear
safety. The grips are also excellent, with some dings on the
otherwise crisp checkering. The holster is good, with much of the face having
faded to a brown color, mild scuffing and cracking, and the pull strap is
absent. Mechanically excellent.

World War II German Krieghoff “1936” Dated
Luftwaffe Contract P.08 Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Shoulder Holster - Serial no. 6703, 9
mm cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish, plastic
grips. The only official Luger supplier of the Luftwaffe,
Krieghoff’s output showed a fit and finish more in line
with a fine commercial pistol than a military weapon and rate among the
nicest contract Lugers manufactured. It is estimated that during 1936 only a total
of approximately 7,400 Luger pistols were manufactured by Krieghoff, inclusive of
“S” and “1936” marked pistols. Fixed sights, with a full “1936” date on the chamber and
the front toggle marked with the 1936 “C-3” pattern Krieghoff logo. Matching serial numbers
are present on the barrel, frame, extension, sideplate, toggle assembly, trigger and takedown lever, with
“Krieghoff eagle/2” acceptance proofs on the barrel, frame, breechblock and receiver, and the “Eagle” firing
proof on the barrel, extension and breechblock. The barrel also has the “8,86” internal diameter mark on the
underside. Fitted with straw colored small parts, niter blue screws and pins, a set of
brown checkered grips, and a Haenel Schmeisser Patent marked replacement
magazine with an unmarked base with the number removed. Includes
a brown leather shoulder holster with small “eagle” stamp and a faint
Hanover address on the back.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 85% plus original blue finish, showing minor scratches and brown
patina concentrated on the gripstraps, mild handling marks and edge wear overall. and some
light spotting. 50% of the original straw color is present, and strong niter blue in the protected
areas. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fair, with torn straps and mild wear.
