Scarce Factory Master Robert P. Runge Signed and Engraved Remington .410 Bore Model
1100-SF “Premier Skeet” Semi-Automatic Shotgun - Serial no. M-002332-H, 410 gauge,
25 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. The “F”, or “Premier”, grade was built sparing no
expense with attractive extensive engraving and parts hand fitted by the
master gunsmiths at the Custom
Shop, while the “S”, or “SKEET”,
was the configuration designed
for serious skeet shooters, with
the “SF” being a combination of
the two known as the “Premier
Skeet”. Built with a blued barrel
featuring dual bead sights on the
on the matted vent rib, choke
constriction of .007 inches, 2 1/2
inch chambers, and 7 1/2 inch
wedges of scroll engraving at
either side of the rib near the
base surrounding the standard
factory markings. The barrel is
fitted to a blued action which
displays highly attractive scroll
engraving surrounding hand cut
factory markings and seven total
panel game scenes. The scenes consist of a pheasant in flight, a pair of pointers, and a mallard in
flight on the left, a quail, a pair of setters, and a grouse on the right, and a bust of a setter on the
triggerguard all cut in fine detail. The engraving is signed “RPR 75” below the pointers on the left
for Remington Master Engraver Robert P. Runge.
