Automatic Pistol with Case - Serial no. 01614B70, 45 ACP
cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, smooth grips. Manufactured
in 1979 and subsequently embellished. The frame and slide
display broad wire borders which resemble the shape of the Colt
armory domes often used in Colt iconography. The gun has been engraved in
a stylistically modern motif of leafy patterns which intertwine with one another
and flow behind the borders to just outside of each panel. The background of the
engraving has been expertly matted creating a magnificent contrast and depth
to the blue finish. Though the work is unsigned, it is clearly the work of a master
of the craft. The pistol is fitted with fixed blade front and notch rear sights and a set
of beautifully contrasted smooth grips. Includes a blue leatherette French fit Huey
case with a tan velvet interior with an English style rosewood handled duster brush,
turnscrew, and cleaning rod,
and an extra magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent as
masterfully embellished,
retaining 99% plus bright
high polish blue finish with minimal handling marks and crisp engraving. Grips are very
fine with some minor age related cracks. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent.

Wayne D’Angelo Signed Master Engraved Frank Centofante Folding Pocket Knife with Burl Grip Scales -
Manufactured c. 1999-2009 by Frank Centofante and masterfully engraved by Wayne D’Angelo. Centofante began
making knives in 1968 and continued until around his death in 2009. He joined The Knifemakers Guild in 1971 and
was a member of the board for 18 years, nine of those years serving as president. D’Angelo has been engraving for
over 25 years, including being a Master Engraver for Smith & Wesson, and has now operated his personal business
for many years. In the locked open position, the knife measures 7 1/4 inches overall with a 3 inch drop point blade
featuring Centafonte’s mark on the right with the Madisonville, Tennessee address. The bolster and pommel both feature
D’Angelo’s masterfully executed floral scroll engraving as well as a nude woman on the left of the bolster, below which is
his signature. The grip scales are a smooth burled hardwood. Includes a generic soft case.
CONDITION: Excellent, the metal all almost entirely bright and the engraving crisp with almost no visible handling
evidence on the blade. The grip scales are very fine with a faint hairline crack in the right scale. Its locking function
works properly.

Arnold Griebel Game Scene Engraved
and Gold Inlaid Colt Woodsman Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 189713-S,
22 LR cal., 4 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured in the late 1960s
and subsequently embellished by Master Engraver Arnold
Griebel. The barrel is inlaid with a single gold band at the muzzle
and displays a spray of tight floral scroll coming off the breech. The
frame and slide are engraved with matching floral scroll and wavy line
motifs as well as gold wire borders on the side slide around the slide
markings. The chamber displays three beautifully executed game scenes
inside of a gold wire border, a squirrel on a tree breach on the left, a falcon
with a successful kill in a field on top, and a possum on the right in a tree with all three animals rendered in raised relief gold
inlays. The underside of the chamber ahead of the triggerguard is singed “ENGR BY/A. GRIEBEL”. Fitted with serrated blade front and adjustable rear
sights and a set of checkered thumbrest grips.
CONDITION: Excellent as embellished by Master Engraver Arnold Griebel, retaining 99% plus blue finish, light handling marks, and crisp engraving. Grips are very fine with
most of the varnish remaining, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. This would make a magnificent addition to any Colt collection!
