Tool Room Smith & Wesson Model 41 Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. T1010, 22 LR cal., 7 inch slab sided
bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Found in the T1001-T1025, this is an
extremely rare factory tool room S&W Model 41 pistol in .22 LR. As noted
in the “Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson,” these pistols will display “[s]light variation
exist in manufacturing and tooling such as placement of serrations or checkering and
in the size and shape of the slide lock lever” (page 346). A second batch of tool room
guns (T1026-T1034) were chambered in .22 short and became the Model 41-1. Fitted with
Patridge blade front and fully adjustable rear sights on the compensator equipped barrel.
The frame is marked with the tool room serial number “T1010” on the left above the trigger
and fitted with a set of wraparound checkered walnut target grips.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with handling marks, and some spotting and pitting
concentrated near the muzzle and top of the backstrap. Grips are very fine with crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

magnum cal., 5 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. Manufactured in 1979/80 and featuring a factory
class A engraving. Floral scroll with stippled background decorate barrel, the frame, cylinder flats and trigger
guard. Includes S&W wood display case with cleaning tools.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and very faint cylinder
drag line. Grips are fine with crazed varnish. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.

Double Action Revolver with Case and Factory Letter - Serial no.
2K22627, 357 magnum cal., 4 inch solid rib bbl., nickel finish, goncalo
alves grips. The accompanying factory letter states the revolver was
shipped on February 1, 1972 and delivered to American Wholesale
Hardware Co. of Long Beach, California, with a 4 inch barrel, ramp
front sight, target hammer, target trigger, factory class A engraving,
nickel finish, and checkered goncalo alves target grips. Includes a S&W
hardwood presentation case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall with 99% plus original nickel finish,
limited handling marks, light cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering.
Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.

Semi-Automatic Target Pistol - Serial no. FYA0123, 22 LR cal., 5 1/2 inch slab sided bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured in 2007 with standard markings and features. This pistol was a limited edition run of only 500.
Includes a factory glass top presentation case, marked “S&W/50th Anniversary/ Model 41.”
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue, minor handling evidence, slight discoloration to the
matte blue, and sharp grip checkering. The case is very fine. Mechanically excellent.
