Von Lengerke & Detmold Retailed Factory Engraved A. Francotte Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no.
70114, 12 gauge, 30 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Built with blued steel barrels featuring
a single white bead sight on the matted concave solid rib, barrels marked “VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD” and “U. S. AGENTS.NEW-YORK”
on the right and left respectively, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and choke constrictions of .028/.032 inches. The casehardened sideplated
boxlock action displays carved fences and floral scroll engraving with Francotte signatures on either sideplate and features double triggers and a tang
mounted automatic safety with gold inlaid “S” safety indicator. The gun is fitted with a nicely figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with serrated horn
buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 1 7/8 inch drop at heel; 13 7/8 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 15 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 98% original blue finish, 90% original case colors with some muting, a few patches of spotting on the barrels, light handling evidence, a few insect holes in buttplate,
and crisp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent.

Boxlock Over/Under Shotgun - Serial no. 30493, 20 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut
stock. Built with blued Krupp Laufstahl barrels featuring a single bead sight on the matted flat solid rib, “VON LENGERKE
& DETMOLD INC” and “NEW-YORK” marked on the right and left of the upper tube respectively, attractive bouquet and scroll engraving at the
breech, choke constrictions of .021/.018 inches, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a casehardened boxlock action which
displays scroll engraving surrounding “GREIFELT & Co. SUHL” on either side as well as a flock of mallards on the right and a covey of pheasants on the left. The
gun features double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety with gold inlaid “SAFE” Indicator. The gun is fitted with an attractively figured and multi-point checkered forend as well
as a round knob pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 13/16 inch drop at heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish, 90% original case colors, minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.

Boxlock Over/Under Shotgun - Serial no. 34098, 20 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut
stock. Built with blued Krupp Laufstahl barrels featuring dual bead sights (rear absent) on the matted flat solid rib, “VON
LENGERKE & DETMOLD INC” and “NEW-YORK, N.Y. U.S. AGENTS” marked on the right and left of the upper tube respectively, attractive bouquet and
scroll engraving at the breech, choke constrictions of .023/.026 inches, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a casehardened
boxlock action which displays more bouquet and scroll engraving surrounding “GREIFELT & Co SUHL, GERMANY” on either side as well as a covey of quail on
the right and a roaring red stag with two hinds on the left. The gun features double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety with gold inlaid “SAFE” Indicator. The gun is fitted with a handsomely
figured and multi-point checkered forend as well as a round knob pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 9/16 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of
pull; weight 5 lbs. 13 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original blue finish, 95% original case colors, and minor handling evidence. The stock has a few small cracks at the head; otherwise, the wood is very fine with a few small
marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 74727, 410 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Built with
blued steel barrels featuring a single nickel bead sight on the matte concave solid rib, “THE KNOCK ABOUT GUN” and “VON LENGERKE
& DETMOLD NEW YORK” marked on the right and left tubes respectively, 3 inch chambers with a single extractor, and choke constrictions of
.009/.025 inches. The barrels are fitted to a petite casehardened boxlock action which is marked on the left side “THE KNOCK ABOUT GUN”, the right
side is marked “VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD /NEW YORK”, and features double triggers and a tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is fitted with a lightly figured
and multi-point checkered forend and a straight grip stock with a serrated bare butt. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 9/16 inch drop at heel; 13 3/4 inch length of pull; weight 4 lbs.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 95% plus original blue finish on the barrels, 90% original case colors with some muting, 50% original blue on the triggerguard, some minor spotting, and crisp checkering
on the wood. Safety needs adjustment; otherwise, mechanically excellent.

Richards Boxlock Single Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 7062, 12 gauge, 33 5/8
inch vent rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Built with a blued steel barrel featuring dual
bead sights on the matted vent rib, “WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co. LONDON.” signed to the left of the rib, attractive wedges of
scroll engraving at the breech, period London nitro proof marks, choke constriction of .043 inches, and a 2 3/4 inch chamber with
automatic ejector. The barrel is fitted to casehardened boxlock action which displays wonderful scroll engraving surrounding “WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co.”
signatures on either side. The gun is fitted with an attractively figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with carved
drop points, blank silver inscription oval, and a horn grip cap and buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 1 3/4 inch drop at heel; 14 3/4 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 7 oz.
CONDITION: Very good, retaining 95% original blue finish with much of the loss at the breech and lower tang, some plum coloration, strong traces of original case colors in the protected areas, and mild
handling evidence. The refurbished wood has a few small marks, repaired chip at upper tang, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
