Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Model 21 Standard Grade Over/
Under 20 Gauge Shotgun - Serial no. W50149, 20 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut
stock. Blued steel barrels with single red bead sight on a matted vent rib, 3 inch chambers with ejectors, and choke
tube system (Improved cylinder/SK1). The blued receiver is unengraved with an automatic selective safety, and single gold
washed trigger. The action is mounted in a lightly figured multipoint checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with Anson
button release, steel grip cap, and red Winchester recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bores 9 inches from the breech
measure .614/.613 inches; minimum wall thickness .034/.033 inches; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of
pull 14 1/4 inches; weight 6 lbs. 7 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling evidence and crisp checkering.

Tuscano Signed and Engraved Winchester
Model 21 Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no.
22940, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, deluxe walnut stock.
Likely built as a standard grade gun and subsequently upgraded to the current
configuration with blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels featuring dual white bead sights
on the matted concave solid rib, 3 inch wedges of floral scroll engraving at either breech, chokes
marked “MOD”/”FULL”, and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a
blued action which displays highly attractive Winchester 21-6 pattern engraving consisting of near
full coverage floral scrollwork surrounding four game scenes as well as the serial number inlaid in gold on the
upper tang. The left side shows a setter in a field scene, the right shows a pointer in a field scene, the underside shows a pair of pheasant cocks in a field scene, and a bust of a
pointer on the triggerguard all rendered in lovely high detail. The gun is signed on the triggerplate to the left of the trigger “A.TUSCANO” for American engraver Anthony “Tony”
Tuscano. The gun features a gold plated single selective trigger and tang mounted manual safety with gold inlaid “SAFE” indicator. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and
fancy 21-B pattern fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings, rotary latch release with gold line, and ebony tip inlay as well as a pistol grip stock with matching
fleur-de-lis checkering, engraved blue steel grip cap, blank gold inscription oval, and a Kick-Eez recoil pad. Barrel measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech

CONDITION: Very fine overall as professionally upgraded to current configuration, retaining 99% blue finish with some patches of thinning, minor handling evidence, slight gap at the
wood to lower tang fit, crisp engraving, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
