Game Scene Engraved Winchester Deluxe Model
63 Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 14800, 22 LR cal.,
23 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1963. The rifle
is decorated with a Winchester factory inspired No. 6 game scene engraving
along with scrollwork and scroll borders on the receiver. The left side of the
receiver features a vignette of a falcon sitting on a
broken tree limb, and the right side of
the receiver features a vignette of a whitetail buck in a clearing.
The Winchester factory replacement barrel features flourishes of scrollwork on pearl
background at the Marble No. 6 beaded blade front sight, folding adjustable leaf
rear sight, and breech. Additional scrollwork appears on the forend cap and trigger
guard. The nicely figured walnut forearm and pistol grip stock are checkered. The
buttstock has a Winchester hard rubber grip cap and a smooth steel buttplate. This
rifle is not within the model serial number range of available records.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine overall as professionally embellished and upgraded,
retaining 99% plus of the blue finish with minimal handling marks and crisp forend
and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. A very attractive game scene engraved Winchester Model 63 rifle.

Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle in Scarce .22
WRF Caliber - Serial no. 120967, 22 WRF cal., 24 inch
round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1949. Has
a nickel beaded blade front sight
and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The
barrel has the second style inscription along with Winchester āWPā proofs
on the barrel and receiver at the breech, āW.R.F.ā marking on front receiver
face, smooth trigger and serrated hammer catch, and tang mounted peep
sight. The round barrel Model 61 chambered for .22 W.R.F. was only produced
between 1947 and 1950. Mounted on a 17 groove flat bottom walnut forearm and smooth pistol
grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine with 97% plus factory quality restored blue, some light slide retraction marks, and light handling
marks. The refinished wood is also very fine with some small dings, narrow gaps around the tangs, and refinished
buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
