Belgian Browning 20 Gauge B25 Gold Classic Superposed Shotgun
with Case and Box - Serial no. P33GC036, 20 gauge, 26 inch vent rib bbl., blue/French grey finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1986. Blued
Special Steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard markings, chokes marked “**-”/”**”, and 2 3/4 inch chambers
with automatic ejectors. The French grey finished boxlock action displays beautiful scroll engraving surrounding gold inlaid decorations. The
right side shows a pointer flushing a pair of quail along with a bust of John Browning and “BROWNING GOLD CLASSIC”, the left side shows a
pointer flushing a pair of pheasant over “036 OF FIVE HUNDRED”, and the underside has a bust of a grouse all rendered in highly detailed gold.
The engraving extends to the toplever, both tangs, and the trigger guard which shows a gold inlaid Browning logo. The right side of the action is
signed “E. VOS”, and the left side is signed “J. RECULE” for FN Engravers Edouard Vos and Jean Recule. The gun features a single trigger and tang mounted
safety selector switch with gold inlaid “O”, “U”, and “S”. Beautifully figured, fancy floral multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with Browning buttplate. Includes original
box and hardwood presentation case with shipping box. The gun is collector serialized to the three previous. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .612/.612 inches; choke
constriction .006/.017 inches; minimum wall .042/.042 thickness inches; 1 1/4 inch drop at comb; 1 5/8 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull; weight 5 lbs. 13 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 99% plus original blue and 95% original French grey finishes, handling marks, pitting on the action, and crisp engraving. Wood is excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
Box is very fine and the case is excellent.

Shotgun with Box and Case - Serial no.
8J4PY00036, 12 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/French grey finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in
1982. Dual white bead sights on the matte, vent rib barrels with 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic
ejectors and chokes marked “**/*” (modified/full). The French grey action features full coverage leafy scroll
engraving against shaded backgrounds surrounding highly detailed scenes of ducks in flight. Each duck
is rendered in fine, detailed, semi-relief gold inlay, and the scenes themselves are bordered with gold wire
inlay. The underside is inscribed and gold inlaid “BLACK DUCK ANAS RUBRIPES/036 of 500”. The left side of the
receiver is signed “R. Capece” and the right is signed “A. POES” for FN Engravers Rocco Capece and Augusta Poes.
The trigger guard and tangs are engraved to match with a gold inlaid bust of a duck on the guard. Mounted on an excellently
figured checkered walnut round-knob pistol grip stock and multi-point checkered forearm with matching engraved fittings with a skip-line checkered bare butt. Includes the original box
and display case. This gun is collector serialized to the two previous and one following lots. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech 0.726/0.726
inches; choke constriction 0.017/0.033 inches; minimum wall thickness 0.040/0.036 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 7/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 1 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and French grey finishes with limited handling marks and crisp engraving and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box
is very fine. Case is very good with a crack on the hinge wall of the lid.
