Fleming Firearms/Heckler & Koch HK53 Selective Fire Rifle, Class
III/NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun, with Extra Magazines -
Serial no. A127138, 223 cal., 8 1/2 inch round bbl., matte black finish,
metal stock. Manufactured in Germany in 1981 and imported as
a semi-automatic rifle, and then upgraded by Fleming Firearms of
Oklahoma into a short barreled selective fire rifle. Hooded post front
and four-position drum rear sights, with a birdcage flash hider on
the “IP B” marked barrel, “HK 53” and “IB” marked magazine well, and
Fleming address added to the left side of the frame under the trigger
housing. Receiver is in “shelf” configuration, with “S/E/F” marked selector
positions, right-handed switch, and properly configured trigger
pack. Internally, the bolt and bolt carrier are “IB” marked, the latter
welded up with a functional trip section. Fitted with a textured
triangular handguard, textured pistol grip, and a two-position
telescoping buttstock. Included with the
lot are six extra magazines.
CONDITION: Very fine with 95% of the black finish,
showing some casual and expected bubbling/
flaking on the barrel under the handguard,
scuffing around the ejection port and under the
selector switch, and minor handling marks overall. Some minor scratches
are present on the handguard and grip. Mechanically excellent. NOTE:
This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3,
which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and
Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and
27 CFR part 479.
