Outstanding and Rare Pre-Ban Australian Lithgow S.A.F. L1.A1.A FAL Semi-Automatic Rifle
with Desirable Coachwood Furniture and Bayonet - Serial no. 830132, 7.62x51mm NATO (308)
cal., 21 inch round bbl., black finish, hardwood stock. One of only 200 commercial production
L1.A1.A rifles reportedly manufactured during a brief window in the 1980s by the Lithgow
Small Arms Factory (S.A.F.) in Australia for export to the U.S., per a numbered certificate included
with the lot, with an importer mark on the inch-pattern receiver. Features winged adjustable post front and fixed folding peep rear sights, with a bayonet lug on the flash
hider, adjustable gas system, a folding carry handle and charging handle, “sand cut” milled bolt carrier, a Lithgow “seven-point-star/A” factory marked trigger housing with “S” and “R” marked fire controls, along with the “RIFLE, 7.62
mm, L1.A1.A” model marking on the left of the receiver. Matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger housing, bolt carrier, and bolt. Fitted with a set of distinctive smooth coachwood handguards, pistol grip, and buttstock, with
“MA.84” marked on the underside for the handguards and stock. Includes a parkerized bowie pattern blade bayonet with metal sheath, a Styrofoam shipping carton (box absent) with a matching serial number written in black ink,
a magazine still in wax paper wrapper, a web sling with preservative compound on the fittings, and an “AUSTRALIAN 7.62 mm RIFLES” marked Australian DoD technical brochure containing a matching numbered S.A.F., Lithgow
certificate of authenticity, noting that the rifle is one of only 200 manufactured specifically for sale in the United States.
CONDITION: Excellent plus, retaining 99% original black finish with limited handling evidence and clear markings. The coachwood furniture is also excellent with a few scattered minor compression marks and attractive oiled grain.
Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is very fine.

Izhmash SVD Dragunov Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle with PSO-1M2 Scope, Bayonet, and Case - Serial no. 38252, 7.62x54 R cal., 24
1/2 inch round bbl., black finish, laminate stock. Manufactured by the Izhmash Industrial Association in Russia c. 1994. Developed between
1958 and 1963, the ‘Snayperskaya Vintovka Dragunova’ (translated as “Dragunov Sniper Rifle”), also known as the SVD or simply as the
‘Dragunov’, was meant to provide a full-power designated marksman platform for Soviet infantry squads of the time, which were largely
reliant on more close-ranged automatic small arms like the Kalashnikov family. Features hooded post front and adjustable tangent rear
sights, a bayonet lug on the elongated flash hider, adjustable gas block, and an importer mark on the right side of the receiver under the serial
number, “1994” manufacture date, and Izhmash “triangle/arrow” marking. Matching “38252” serial numbers on the bolt carrier, bolt head, and dust cover, along with matching “252” partial serial numbers on the gas block, safety, and
trigger housing. Fitted with a pair of varnished birch handguards and a varnished laminate thumb-hole stock, numbered to match the attached scope, with detachable leatherette covered cheek riser. Topped off with a PSO-1M2
4x24 mm scope with illuminated reticle, rubber eye piece, along with an integrated sun shade and receiver side rail mount. Includes a brown leatherette hard case fitted to the rifle , two extra rubber eye pieces for the scope, an
extra magazine, a Kalashnikov pattern brown handled bayonet with brown synthetic sheath, tools, and a key for the case.
CONDITION: Excellent plus, retaining 99% original black finish with some limited light edge wear and handling evidence. The furniture is also excellent with a few limited minor handling marks and attractive dark coloration to the
varnished birch. Mechanically excellent. The scope is also excellent with some limited minor handling wear and mostly clear optics, electronically untested.
