Factory Engraved Winchester Model 21 Trap Double Barrel Shotgun Two Barrel Set with Factory Letter - Serial no. 31491,
12 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. The included factory letter confirms the current gauge, barrel length, sight
configuration, chokes of the two barrel sets, safety, single trigger, ejectors, recoil pad, the 21-A checkering, gold initials on the trigger guard,
and the number 2 pattern engraving when the inspection was started on April 6th, 1956, and completed on June 16th, 1956. Built with blued
Winchester Proof steel barrels featuring red front bead and white mid-bead sights on the matted flat vent rib which is marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY
WINCHESTER”, chokes marked “WS-2”/”WS-1”, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the blued action which displays
attractive Winchester 21-2 pattern engraving consisting of light scroll engraving on all sides and a mallard in flight in an oval scene on the triggerplate
as well as a gold inlaid “J/T/S/” on the trigger guard bow. The gun features a gold single selective trigger and a tang mounted manual safety with
gold inlaid “SAFE” indicator. The gun is fitted with a beautiful feather crotch figured and 21-A pattern checkered beavertail forend with ebony tip and
engraved iron as well as a pistol grip stock with blued steel grip cap and factory red rubber recoil pad. Included is a second matching 30 inch barrel set
with full/modified chokes. Barrel measurements for the extra set (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .728/.728 inches; choke constriction
.031/.010 inches; minimum wall thickness .033/.031 inches. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .728/.728
inches; choke constriction .012/.008(jug) inches; minimum wall thickness .031/.030 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 1 7/8 inch drop at heel;

CONDITION: Very fine as professionally restored, retaining 99% blue finish, minor handling evidence/edge wear, slightly softened
triggerplate engraving, slight plum hue on the triggerplate, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
The extra barrel set is also very fine.

Upgraded Anthony Tuscano Signed and Engraved Winchester
Model 21 Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 22940, 12 gauge, 30
inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, deluxe walnut stock. Likely built as a standard grade
gun between 1948 and 1960 and subsequently upgraded to the current configuration with blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels featuring dual
white bead sights on the matted concave solid rib, 3 inch wedges of floral scroll engraving at either breech, chokes marked “MOD”/”FULL”, and
3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a blued action which displays highly attractive Winchester 21-6 pattern engraving
consisting of near full coverage floral scrollwork surrounding four game scenes as well as the serial number inlaid in gold on the upper tang. The left side shows a setter
in a field scene, the right shows a pointer in a field scene, the underside shows a pair of pheasant cocks in a field scene, and a bust of a pointer on the trigger guard all
rendered in lovely high detail. The gun is signed on the triggerplate to the left of the trigger “A.TUSCANO” for American engraver Anthony “Tony” Tuscano. The gun features
a gold plated single selective trigger and tang mounted manual safety with gold inlaid “SAFE” indicator. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and fancy 21-B pattern fleur-de-lis
checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings, rotary latch release with gold line, and ebony tip inlay as well as a pistol grip stock with matching fleur-de-lis checkering, engraved blue steel grip cap, blank
gold inscription oval, and a Kick-Eez recoil pad. Barrel measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .734/.731 inches; choke constriction .012/.035 inches; minimum wall thickness .025/.026
inches. Stock measurements: 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 1 5/8 inch drop at heel; 13 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 7 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine overall as professionally upgraded to current configuration, retaining 99% blue finish with some patches of thinning, minor handling evidence, slight gap at the wood to lower tang fit,
crisp engraving, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
