CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus bright original high polish blue finish with some
spots of smooth brown patina concentrated on the backstrap, 99% vivid original case
colors on the loading lever and hammer, and an absolutely crisp cylinder scene. Grip is
also excellent, with most of the original glossy piano varnish finish, some scratches, tight
fitment, and distinct edges. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine, with general light age
related fading on the interior, and accessories are all very fine. This outstanding cased Colt
Model 1855 7A “Root” revolver would be extremely difficult to improve upon!
