DWM Model 1902 Luger Semi-Automatic Carbine
with Shoulder Stock - Serial no. 23655, 9 mm Luger cal., 11 3/4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut stock, walnut grips. This is an example of a DWM Model 1902 Luger carbine,
with walnut shoulder stock and is chambered in the highly desirable 9 mm Luger cartridge. These early
carbines all have an 11 3/4 inch barrel, with DWM factory frame hanger that attaches to the small walnut
forend which holds a small spring accelerator mechanism to help cycle the longer carbine barrel during firing.
The additional early features are the old style frame with the flat mainspring, grip safety, dished toggles with
toggle lock on the right side, and the recessed/flat breech bolt with the small spring extractor. The chamber
area of the barrel extension is blank, and the DWM logo is on the front toggle. The full serial number is correctly
marked on the underside of the frame extension and underside of the barrel. The forend is unnumbered inside
the cutout for the frame extension.
