Massive “Honor to the Great
Spirit” Bronze - This great tall
spectacular bronze depicts an Indian on
horseback with one raised arm holding an
American eagle as a tribute to the Great
Spirit. The eagle is about to reach the sky as
he will shortly be a bird in flight to converse
with the Great Spirit. The horse is raised
on his hind legs with his front legs
rearing upward. The Indian wears a war
bonnet on his head with a feathered
shield and knife by his side. The horse
is resting on the bronze circular
plinth. The dimensions are
as follows: 70 inches tall
by 36 inches wide by
84 inches tall. Weight is
approximately 235 pounds.
The consignor states this was
attributed to Randolph Rogers Am (1825-1892).
Randolph Rogers was an expatriate neoclassical sculptor of
ideal figures and monuments. He had many commissions
including the Columbus doors in the Capitol.
He is a well known sculptor who created
excellent depictions of heroic Indian
endeavors and spirituality.
CONDITION: Very fine with modest
storage and display wear.

The Spirit of Ecstasy Bronze by Sykes -
This sculpture is one of the finest original
sculptures designed by Sykes to be
the mascot for the Rolls-Royce Silver
Ghost. Sykes modeled the piece after
the woman he loved who was also
engaged in a secret love affair with her
boss, a pioneer of the auto industry. His love
and her boss were aboard the S.S. Persia that
was torpedoed off the coast of Crete. She now
lives in Immortality! The sculpture shows the
flowing robe on her and the streamlining as
she is whisked briskly down the highway.
The statue is signed on the bottom of the
base Charles Sykes (English 1875-1950)
with as TS imprint (Tiffany Studio) TS #7.
This elegant bronze rests on a marble base
atop a layered marble and bronze base.
Measures 20 inches by 14 inches
by 30 inches tall and
weighs 80 pounds.
CONDITION: Excellent overall
with minimal storage
and display wear.

LOT 3243
Monumental Life Sized David & Goliath
Bronze Signed Barris - This depiction of
the sculptor is drawn from the Old Testament
when the young David came to battle with
the giant Goliath who was the enemy
against David’s people. The outcome was
David slew Goliath with a sling shot to
Goliath’s head that brought down Goliath.
David then decapitated his opponent and
stood on the head of Goliath with David’s
sword arm stretched from him so that
he might put the sword in his scabbard
and then savor his victory. At a later time,
David became King David and did many
historical acts that made him a great King.
The bronze is signed on the bottom of
the base “Barris” (Louis Ernest 1841-1905
French) and measures 70 inches high by
28 inches in depth by 28 inches wide.
Weight is approximately 120 pounds. A
life sized bronze
based on historical figures.
CONDITION: Excellent overall with
minimal handling and storage wear.

Stag Head Bronze Urn Bronze
Signed Barye - Resting on a
decorated foliate bronze circular
base, this urn is decorated with
stag-horn details molded out
from the side with forest vine
foliage surrounding the urn.
Signed “Barye” ( Pierre Jules
1810-1871 Paris France) at
the bottom rim of the urn,
this is a masterpiece of one of
the great animalier sculptors
of the classic age which
depicts how the animal truly
looks in nature and not as
a fanciful creation of the artistic mind.
Measurements are 35 inches high
by 21 inches in depth of the circular
edge of the urn. Weighs
approximately 80 pounds.

Magnificent Prancing Bronze
Horse Signed Frederic Remington
- This bronze horse is rearing up
from the ground with his two
legs out stretched touching
the sky as to warn foe that this
horse will stand its ground,
whether man or beast.
The rugged smooth
coat of the stallion
as well as the eyes
of the stallion
looking downward
excites the imagination
of the artist. The stallion
measures 85 inches tall
by 58 inches in depth by 20 inches wide
and weighs approximately 240 pounds.
CONDITION: Very fine overall with minor
handling and storage wear.

Frederick Remington Coin Silver
Sculpture - The Cheyenne is a classic
remake of an Indian on horseback
riding at full gallop towards his
foe. This presentation’s silvered
masterpiece was cast in the late 20th
century and composed of multimedia
coin silver of that era. The base
of the statue is stamped “Silver/
Henry Bonnard Foundry NY 1895
Cast 55/100”. The silvered statue
rests on a monumental green marble
plinth measuring 14 inches by 25 inches
wide by 35 inches tall. The plinth has a silvered
nameplate affixed to the front stating “Cheyenne/
Silver/by Frederic Remington”. The total
weight of the statue and plinth
is approximately 125 pounds.
The consignor states this statue
contains approximately 600
troy ounces of silver composed
of Kennedy Half dollars (1965-
1970) of 40% silver and 60%
Copper that had .14 troy ounces
of silver. Silver’s current value is
approximately $32/ounce with
an appraisal of $25,000
replacement cost.
CONDITION: Fine overall
with mild oxidation
throughout and minor
storage/display wear.
