Engraved Gold Plated Colt Model
1861 Navy Percussion Revolver
with Oiler - Serial no. 32224, 36 cal., 7
1/2 inch round bbl., gold finish, highly figured wood grips.
Manufactured in 1868. The revolver was later embellished
by renowned Master Engraver Philip Quigley in the 21st
century, and is signed “ENR P.L. QUIGLEY” on the bottom
of the frame below the serial number. The revolver is plated in gold, with fiery
blue small parts, and features extensive engraving in the style of 19th century
engravers, consisting of floral scroll patterns on punch-dot backgrounds,
zigzag patterns on the trigger guard, and star motifs. Quigley continues
to craft one-of-a-kind masterpieces and his work is found in world famous
collections such as the Autry Museum of Western Art, National Civil War Museum and NRA Collection. Includes an
oiler gold plated to match with engraving on the top, with Alexander maker marking on bottom.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 99% plus bright gold plated finish, with sharp engraving. Grip is also very fine, with
a few light handling marks, and attractive grain. Mechanically excellent.

Cattle Brand Master Engraved and Gold Plated Colt
Cowboy Single Action Army Revolver with Certificate
of Engraving - Serial no. TF08091, 45 Long Colt cal., 5 1/2
inch round bbl., gold finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in 2000, this
Colt Cowboy Single Action Army was subsequently masterfully and
beautifully embellished by Master Engraver Jeff Flannery, with his
signature “J Flannery Engr” on the upper left of the barrel. An included
2017 dated certificate from Jeff Flannery Engraving Co. lists the revolver by serial number with
full coverage cattle brand engraving and 24K gold finish. The engraving shows beautiful cattle
brands scattered throughout on a punch-dot background, very much in the style created by
Cole Agee and Weldon Bledsoe. The top of the barrel is marked with the one-line address,
while the model and caliber marking are on the left. The serial number is on the bottom of the frame. It has
standard features and is fitted with a pair of checkered plastic grips with Rampant Colts at the tops.
CONDITION: Excellent as Jeff Flannery embellished, retaining 99% plus of the gold plated finish and crisp
engraving throughout. The grips are also excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent. A beautiful, cattle brand engraved Colt Single Action Army revolver!

no. 2s, 45 Long Colt cal., 7 1/2
inch round bbl., bright finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured c. 1993-2011 by U.S. Fire
Arms Manufacturing Co. in Hartford, Connecticut. These
revolvers are a faithful re-creation of the Single Action
Army, and the U.S. Fire Arms Manufacturing Co. factory
was located “Under the Blue Dome” in the East Armory
building of the former Colt complex. This example is a factory cutaway, likely
used for demonstration purposes, and has matching “2s” (s for skeleton
presumably) serial numbers on the cylinder, frame, triggerguard, and back strap.
CONDITION: Excellent, exhibits bright surfaces with crisp markings, and minor flash marks. Grips are also excellent
with distinct edges. Mechanically excellent.

Rare and Desirable Factory Cutaway Special Edition
Colt Third Generation Single Action Army Revolver
with Original Box and Factory Letter - Serial no. SA93412, 45
Long Colt cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., nickel/fire blue finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured in 1991, the included factory letter confirms
this revolver’s identity as one of 100 Cutaway Special Edition Colt Single
Action Army revolvers produced, and confirms its configuration, including a 4 3/4 inch barrel
in .45 Long Colt caliber, nickel finish with some fire blued small parts, and a one-piece walnut
grip with a single silver medallion on the right, when shipped to “Southern Ohio Gun Distr.”
in Lebanon, Ohio, on March 30, 1991. The factory letter also notes that 35 of this special
edition were embellished with Class “B” engraving, and that it was the first purpose built cutaway edition released
by Colt. Features fixed blade front and top strap notch rear sights, the one-line Colt address roll-marked on top of
the barrel with the model and caliber designation on the left side along with a cutaway section under the front
sight, the two-line Colt patent dates and Rampant Colt on the left of the frame with cutaway segments on the left
side of the barrel threads, trigger mechanism, and recoil shield with a clear view of most of the internal workings,
a Colt factory “triangle/VP” proof on the left of the trigger guard, a cutaway section on one of the cylinders, along
with fire blued trigger, cylinder pin, ejector rod head, and screws. Matching “93412” serial number on the front of
the cylinder. Fitted with a one piece smooth walnut grip with a single colt medallion insert on the right side and
a small cutaway section on the left. Includes the original colt box with a matching Colt Custom Shop end label
and styrofoam insert.
CONDITION: Excellent plus as a factory cutaway special edition, retaining 99% plus original nickel plating and
99% original fire blue finish with limited handling evidence, clear roll-marks, and crisp cutaway sections. The grip
is also excellent with limited minor handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some
light edge fraying, a few small tears, and the end label half attached.
