Master Engraved and Gold Inlaid Joseph Condon Signed O’Brien Custom Sako L461 Bolt Action Rifle with Scope
- Serial no. 110914, 17 Magnum cal., 18 inch round bbl., blue finish,
walnut stock. Manufactured circa 1972. Features a tapered lightweight
barrel marked “ACKLEY-O’BRIEN” on top with dual gold inlaid bands at
the muzzle, and a wedge of deep cut scroll engraving forward of the breech with gold inlaid scroll accents.
Surprisingly (given the full length Mannlicher style stock) the underside of the barrel is also engraved and
gold inlaid with what appear to be bear tracks! The receiver features light scroll engraving with a mountain scene on the left
side of the ring with a gold inlaid bighorn sheep. With matching engraved and gold inlaid scope bases and rings, and Leupold M8-6x scope with gold wolf heads on the
knob caps. The floorplate is engraved with a gold inlaid bear scene and the trigger guard features light scroll with a gold inlaid “CF” monogram. The bolt release is signed
“ENGR. BY/J. CONDON”. Attractively figured, smooth Mannlicher stock with raised cheekpiece, rosewood grip cap, and Pachmayr recoil
pad. With tooled leather sling marked with the initials “CEF”
CONDITION: Excellent. 98% original blue finish remains with some light handling marks, sharp engraving, complete gold inlays, and
some mild stock wear along the length of the barrel. The stock is also excellent with highly attractive color and figure, and a few dings
and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics.

Weatherby Mark V Custom Bolt Action Rifle
with Scope - Serial no. H154550, 300 WBY magnum cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut
stock. Manufactured in 1983. Built without sights on the blued barrel which shows standard factory markings.
The barrel is fitted to the blued action which also shows standard markings and is topped by a Weatherby 3-9x40 mm scope. The floorplate shows some
floral scroll engraving surrounding a “WEATHERBY CUSTOM” banner. The rifle is fitted in a beautifully
figured and fancy skip-line fleur-de-lis checkered pistol grip stock with rosewood forend tip and grip
cap, multi-colored wood inlays, initials in the gold initial plate under the forend, a raised cheekpiece,
sling studs, and a factory recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish with minor handling evidence and
sharp checkering on the stock. Mechanically excellent. The scope optics are sharp with crisp reticle.

Factory Engraved Weatherby Mark V Bolt Action Rifle with Scope - Serial no. H87848, 7 mm WBY magnum cal., 24
inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured
between 1974 and 1984. Built without sights on the
blued barrel which shows standard factory markings and a 9 1/2 inch wedge for floral scroll
engraving over a matted background emanating from the breech. The barrel is fitted to the blued
action which also shows standard markings which are surrounded by matching scroll engraving over a matted background. The action is topped
by a Leupold M8-6x scope in a set of matching engraved rings and mounts. The floorplate shows more floral scroll engraving and continues onto the
trigger guard. The rifle is fitted in a beautifully figured and fancy checkered French walnut pistol grip stock with rosewood forend tip and grip cap, a
raised cheekpiece, sling studs, and a Pachmayr Old English recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish with minor handling evidence, a few minor pressure marks, and sharp checkering on the
stock. Mechanically excellent. The scope optics are sharp.

Factory Engraved Weatherby Mark V Custom Grade Bolt Action Rifle with
Scope and Factory Letter - Serial no. H130931, 300 WBY magnum cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. The included factory
letter confirms the current configuration when the rifle was shipped to E. L. Blair & Sons of Williamsburg,
PA, on January 13th, 1981. Built with a high luster blue #2 profile barrel without sights featuring a 10 inch wedge
of floral scroll engraving over a matted background with the caliber marking surrounded near the breech. The
barrel is fitted to the blued action which displays matching engraving and is fitted with a set of engraved Conetrol
scope mounts and rings holding a Weatherby 3-9x40 mm scope, a jeweled bolt and magazine follower (letter
says Damascened), and a jeweled bolt with engraving and two-panel checkered knob. The floorplate is engraved
surrounding “WEATHERBY CUSTOM” in a banner. The rifle is fitted in a high gloss finished super fancy walnut pistol
grip stock with rosewood tip and cap, modified #12 pattern carving (checkering) with initials on the underside,
pattern #7A carving (inlays) on the stock, #7B carving (inlays) on the forend, #7C carving on the mono plate, raised
cheekpiece, gold swivels, and a factory ventilated rubber recoil pad.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original high luster blue finish with minor handling evidence and sharp
checkering on the stock. Mechanically excellent. The scope optics are clear, the reticle is crisp.
