Dakota Arms
Model 10 Falling Block Rifle in .375 Magnum with Extra
Barrel - Serial no. 0352, 375 Magnum cal., 23 inch round bbl., black/bright finish, walnut
stock. Manufactured c. 21st century in Sturgis, South Dakota, featuring a hooded and fixed ramped brass-
beaded blade front and fixed island mounted line-in-notch rear sights, a pair of scope base mounting points
machined into the island quarter-rib behind the rear sight, a barrel-mounted sling swivel stud, the caliber marking “375 Mag Flanged” on the
left side of the chamber, and the Dakota Arms address and serial number on the underside of the frame. Fitted with a multi-point checkered walnut
forend and pistol grip buttstock with a bright grip cap and red Decelerator rubberized butt pad. Includes a spare barrel chamber in .330 Dakota.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with some limited minor edge wear, some specs of spotting/freckling on the action lever, and clear markings. The wood is also
excellent with a few compression marks, mostly crisp checkering, and attractively contrasted grain patterning. Mechanically excellent.

Dakota Arms Model 10 Falling Block Rifle in 7 mm Mauser - Serial
no. SS1094, 7x57/ 7mm Mauser cal., 23 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, deluxe walnut stock.
Manufactured c. 21st century in Sturgis, South Dakota, without iron sights, featuring a pair of scope base
mounting points screwed on top of the chamber topped off with a pair of 30 mm Tally rings, a barrel-mounted sling swivel stud, the caliber
marking on the left side of the chamber, and the Dakota Arms address and serial number on the underside of the casehardened frame. Fitted with a multi-point checkered deluxe
walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock with a casehardened grip cap, a Dakota Arms marked brass stock escutcheon, and a black Pachmayr rubberized butt pad.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish and 90% plus original case colors with some light edge wear to the underside of the frame and loading lever, and otherwise limited handling evidence. The
wood is excellent with a few faint compression marks, crisp checkering, and very attractive deluxe wood grain. Mechanically excellent.

Game Scene Engraved and Gold Inlaid Ruger No. 1 Falling Block Single
Shot Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 132-75303, 243 Win cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue/coin finish, deluxe
walnut stock. Manufactured in 1987 and subsequently beautifully upgraded to its current configuration.
Features a brass-beaded blade front and island-mounted folding notch rear sights, “(Ruger Banner)/No.1”
marked on top of the receiver ring with the serial number on the underside, a gold-washed trigger, along with two highly detailed game
scene engravings on either side of the receiver, with a pronghorn on the left and a white-tail deer on the right, surrounded with floral pattern scroll
engraved bordering and accents that are continued on the action lever, chamber area, and near the muzzle, along with two god inlaid bands at the chamber. The
engraver’s initials “O.D.E.-C.G.” are etched on the underside of the receiver to the right of the trigger. Topped off with a Leupold 2-7x VARI-X IIc scope. Fitted with
checkered and highly figured forearm and buttstock set with a blued and engraved grip cap and blued checkered steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as professionally embellished, retaining 99% blue and coin finishes with some plum coloration to the action lever, some limited
minor handling wear, and crisp clear engravings. The wood is also exceptionally fine with some minor handling evidence, mostly crisp checkering, and attractive
contrasting grain. Mechanically excellent. The scope is excellent with clear optics.

James B. Meek Signed and Master Game
Scene Engraved Ruger No. 1-B Falling Block Single Shot Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 132-
09291, 22-250 Rem cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1980 and
subsequently beautifully upgraded to its current configuration by renowned Master Engraver James B.
Meek. Meek had the distinction of engraving a pair of Ruger No. 1 rifles presented to President Ford for the U.S.
Bicentennial previously sold by the Rock Island Auction Company, a testament to his stellar work. The rifle has a blued steel barrel built without
sights featuring a rear quarter rib scope mount holding a Leupold M8-4X scope in factory rings as well as a band of fine scroll engraving at
the muzzle and wedges of scroll around the quarter rib. The barrel is fitted to the coin finished action which displays gorgeous relief engraved
floral scroll engraving over a darkened background surrounding a ram on the left and a falcon on the right, both cut in fine detail. The
engraving is signed on the bottom right of the action opposite the serial number. The rifle is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point
checkered forend with front sling swivel along with a pistol grip stock with carved tiered bolsters at the stock head, coin finished and engraved
grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, rear sling swivel, and a Niedner buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine as masterfully embellished by James Meek, retaining 99% blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and
forend. Mechanically excellent. Scope optics are clear.
