Exceptional Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid S. Purgal and
R. Dewil Double Signed Belgian Browning BAR North American
Deer Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 437PY00366, 30-06 cal., 22 inch round bbl.,
blue/French grey finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1982. The coin receiver
is engraved with a white-tailed deer
scene on the right with “White tail Deer”
above the charging handle slot and “366 OF SIX HUNDRED”
on a banner at the bottom. “S. PURGAL” is signed at the bottom towards the rear for FN engraver Sophie
Purgal. The left side of the receiver is engraved with a mule deer scene with “Mule Deer” at the top and “ONE
OF SIX HUNDRED” on a banner at the bottom. “R. DEWIL” is signed above the banner for FN engraver Rene
Dewil. Each side also includes a gold inlaid bust of the appropriate deer. Mounted in a wonderfully figured semi-
beavertail walnut forend and pistol grip stock with string of pearls and scroll borders to the multi-point c
heckering, and Browning buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and French grey finish with limited handling marks, and crisp engraving and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved Belgian Browning .22 Auto Grade II Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 7T61896, 22 LR cal., 19 3/8 inch round bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1967. The rifle features a blued barrel with blade front and elevation adjustable flip-up rear sights, factory markings, and gold trigger. The coin finished receiver shows the
proper Grade II engraving consisting of a pair of squirrels in a tree on the right, a pair of prairie dogs on the left, and a single mallard in flight on the top. The rifle is fitted with an attractively figured
and checkered forend and feather crotch figured stock with serrated blued steel buttplate. Includes the original factory box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence, a few minor pressure marks on the wood, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The box is
very good with edge wear.

Scene Engraved Belgian Browning Grade IV BAR Semi-
Automatic Rifle with Box - Serial no. 70945M71, 30-06 cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1971 in Belgium. Built with a blued barrel featuring a hooded beaded blade front sight, folding leaf
rear sight, and standard factory markings. The barrel is fitted to the coin finished receiver which displays attractive
floral scroll engraving over a matted background surrounding two fine game scenes consisting of a white-tail buck and
doe on the left and a pronghorn buck and doe on the right. The engraving is signed “L. ACAMPO” on the left side of the
action for FN engraver Louis Acampo. The rifle is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point Grade IV fancy checkered forend and
pistol grip stock with factory buttplate. Includes the original factory box and shipping box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence, a few patches of dried grease, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically
excellent. The box is very good with some tears.
