Serial no. 213488, 38 S&W cal., 3 1/4 inch solid rib bbl., silver finish,
pearl grips. This model was manufactured from 1898-1907, with this example having an original factory silver finish, S&W gold-leaf medallion pearl grips, and matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, barrel, and barrel latch. The revolver is complete with an original S&W labeled factory deluxe case containing a bore brush. An included 3x5 inch notecard traces the revolver’s provenance. The notecard reads in part, “Given to Sarah Perrine Ferris by her parents, Wilson Perrine Ferris and Elizabeth Malloy Ferris, while she was a student [at] Univ[ersity] of Chicago during a period of racial unrest....Descended thru family to grand-son John Ferris Martin. Purchased from him by [David Carroll], Oct. 2010.” CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% of the age darkened original silver plating with areas of light blistering. 99%
plus original blue remains on the barrel latch and trigger guard. Nearly all original case colors remain on the trigger. The grips are also excellent with highly attractive fiery colors. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with some scattered wear overall. These S&W factory deluxe cases are rarely found in any condition. Excellent Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action
First Model Revolver - Serial no. 36679, 44 S&W
Russian cal., 6 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., nickel finish,
hard rubber grips. All frames of the .44 Double Action
First Model Revolver were manufactured between 1881 and 1898, but this model was listed in the company catalogs and
sold up until 1913. The frame, barrel and cylinder are stamped with British proofs. Matching serial number on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder, barrel, and barrel latch.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% plus original nickel plating with some light blemishes on the side plate. 97% original blue remains on the trigger guard. Nearly all original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Action Target Revolver - Serial no. 693,
32-44 cal., 6 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., nickel
finish, hard rubber grips. The New Model
3 dominated target competitions in the late 1800s and are found in the serial number range below 4,333. Of the 4,333 target variations manufactured, 2,930 were chambered in .32-44 caliber. Smith & Wesson .32 Double Action 4th Model “Bicycle” Revolver with Extremely Rare 2 Inch Barrel,
Pearl Grips and Factory Letter - Serial no. 274081, 32 S&W cal., 2 inch solid rib bbl., nickel
finish, pearl grips. This revolver features the ultra rare 2 inch barrel variation. S&W .32 Double Action “Bicycle Guns” are far more rare than their 2 inch Safety
Hammerless cousins. The accompanying factory letter states factory records for this revolver indicate that it is a special order firearm and shipped on October 22, 1907, to C.H. Munger (no other information was available). The 2 inch barrel is most certainly factory as the barrel as well as the barrel latch are numbered to the
gun. The cylinder is also numbered to the gun. Fitted with S&W gold medallion pearl grips.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel plating with a cylinder drag line, minimal handling marks, and pearl grips with highly attractive fiery colors. Mechanically excellent. An exceptional example of an extremely rare S&W .32 DA “Bicycle Gun” that will be a great addition to even the most advanced S&W collections. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original nickel plating with minimal light flaking. Nearly all original case colors remain on the hammer. Patterns of original case colors remain on the trigger guard, otherwise faded to a gray. The grips are also excellent with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
