Gold and Stone Inlaid Zlatoust Shashka Saber with Sheath - Manufactured at the Zlatoust Arms factory in Zlatoust, Russia. The shashka is the national sword of Russia, originating from the Caucasus mountains and gaining popularity with Russian soldiers. This ultimately led to it being adopted as the standard issue saber of the Russian army. The blade is made of Damascus
  style stainless steel and is adorned with gold inlaid floral scroll and geometric patterns as well as the crest of Imperial Russia. The grip is decorated with more gold inlaid floral scroll, a cross in a
wreath at the pommel, and red and blue stones. The sheath is similarly decorated
with floral and Imperial Russian designs, including the Imperial Russian crest, as
well as red and blue stones. Included with the saber is a hardwood presentation case and Russian paperwork describing the saber.
CONDITION: Excellent with minimal handling marks and a bright blade. Case is also excellent with limited storage and handling marks.
Estimate: 6,500 - 8,500

the pierced section creating a wooded scene with the guard in the background and a wolf leaping into wolf pack scene. The branches are adorned with pink stones. Included with the knife is a stone base with a gold wolf with pink stone eyes, a presentation case for both the knife and stand, and Russian
paperwork describing the knife.
CONDITION: Excellent overall with minimal handling marks and a bright blade. Stand and case are both excellent and have minimal storage and handling marks.

 Gold Inlaid Zlatoust “Souvenir” Knife with Sheath - Manufactured at the Zlatoust Arms factory in Zlatoust, Russia. The knife is adorned with fine inlaid floral scrolls and geometric designs. The sheath is adorned in the same fashion with a snarling wolf panel. The knife measures 13 3/4 inches from tip to pommel with a 8 1/2 inch blade. Includes a hardwood display case, shipping box, and factory paperwork describing the knife in Russian. CONDITION: Excellent overall, with bright blade and limited handling marks. Case is very fine with limited storage and handling marks. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000

Gold and Stone Inlaid Zlatoust “Grizzly Bear” Knife with Sheath and Stand - Manufactured at the Zlatoust Arms factory in Zlatoust, Russia. The Swedish Damascus stainless steel blade is adorned with fine inlaid floral scrolls and a scene depicting a bear in the forest alert to an unknown threat. The sheath is adorned in the same fashion with a different scene showing a bear sparring with a tiger as well as with red stones. The pommel of the knife is fashioned into the shape of a bear’s head and has red stones at the grip. Included with the knife is a hardwood display case, gold plated stand with red stones at the bottom a gold plated bear and figured walnut base, case for the base, and Russian paperwork describing the knife. CONDITION: Excellent overall with minimal handling marks and a bright blade. Case is excellent as well with limited storage and handling marks. Base is very fine with one crack in the varnish. Case is fine with one short side separating and high edge marks on the interior. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000

Gold and Stone Inlaid Zlatoust “Falcon” Knife with Sheath - Manufactured at the Zlatoust Arms factory in Zlatoust, Russia. The Swedish Damascus stainless steel in “Falcon Feather” pattern is adorned with fine inlaid floral scrolls, geometric designs. The sheath is adorned in the same fashion with gliding falcon screeching towards its prey’s demise. The scene is surrounded by blue stones. The pommel of the knife is fashioned into the shape of a falcon’s head with teal stones at the handle. Includes a hardwood presentation case and Russian paperwork describing the knife. CONDITION: Excellent overall with minimal handling marks and a bright blade. Case is excellent with limited storage and handling marks.
