Frame measures 34x30 inches. CONDITION: Very fine with vivid coloration on the dogs, soot type coloration in the white paints, and a glossy top coat. Framed Painting of an English Fox Hunting Scene Signed “Phelps” - This oil painting depicts an English hunting scene of three men mounted on horseback driving a pack of hounds through the English countryside. Behind the men is a thick wood and a clearing. The group is coming in from their chase for a fox. The painting is mounted in a gold painted carved wood frame with floral accents in the molding and holes for hanging in the corners of the top edge. The canvas measures 23x19 inches. Frame measures 32x28 1/2 inches.
CONDITION: Very fine, showing well-defined coloration, glossy top coat, and some soot type coloration in the whites. Frame is very good with storage and handling marks.
