engraving. The barrels are numbered to the gun, feature 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, and are choked modified/improved
modified. The action, trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware are very nicely engraved with fine floral scroll designs.
“Parker Bros. is in gold relief on the underside of the action, and the matching gold relief serial number is on the lower tang.
The water table is marked with the three-line patent date information on the right side and “AAH” over the serial number and
“7” on the left. The barrels are blued. The single trigger is finished in gold as is the selector mounted next to it. The tang mounted
automatic safety has a gold “S”, and the remaining parts are casehardened. It is mounted with a nicely figured walnut beavertail forearm
and high comb straight grip stock with fancy bordered checkering, fleur-de-lis checkered recessed flats, and vented recoil pad. The initial oval has an engraved “SG” monogram. This example exemplifies all of the aforementioned information, but is extensively refurbished, possibly by Pachmayr.
