Factory Engraved Mauser M03 Bolt Action Rifle with Box - Serial no. S001871, 300 Win magnum cal., 25 inch round bbl., blue/gray finish, walnut stock. Manufactured as a takedown rifle with interchangeable barrels, the Mauser M03 served as a way to have one rifle for many. Simply swap the barrel and you could be hunting a whole new prey. This rifle is currently fitted with a 300 Winchester Magnum barrel featuring a ramped beaded blade front and single standing leaf express rear sights. The receiver is grayed and displays light floral scroll engraving with a decocking safety. Mounted in a lightly figured, multipoint checkered walnut stock with ebony nose cap, black grip cap and Swiss cheekpiece. Includes the original box. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and gray finishes with limited handling marks and crisp engraving and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is fine. Very Rare Swiss K31 Jubilee 700th Anniversary Straight Pull Bolt Action Rifle in 22 LR with Box - Serial no. P967424, 22 LR cal., 25 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. This is one of only 500 numbered rifles made between 1990-1991, using Swiss K31 rifles embellished and chambered for .22 LR, to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation by the Association of Swiss Gunsmiths. The
chamber is embellished with gold inlaid features including “439” (out of 500) above the Swiss Cross in a shield, “Jubilaums” on the left, and “K K-Karabiner” on the right. An inset gold oval plaque that reads “700 Fahre/Confoederatio/Helvetica/1291(Swiss Cross in a shield)1991” is located on the right of the buttstock. Standard blade front sight with raised guards on the sides, and tangent rear sight marked 1-15 (100-1,500 meters) on the face of the slide. Matching serial number “967424” marked on the bolt and magazine. Straight grain walnut stock. The underside of the barrel has a small import mark. Includes braided leather sling, muzzle cap, circular test target marked “10 Schuss 50 Meter/No. 439 Vis.” hanging from the trigger guard, and shipping box. These rifles are very rare to find in the United States, the only one the writer can recall ever offering at auction. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 99% plus blue and gold finishes with some light handling evidence. Stock is also excellent with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500
LOT 3534 Upgraded Sako L579 Bolt Action Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 40408, 30 Burgess cal., 23 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Replacement barrel manufactured without sights and marked “.30 BURGESS” on the left of the chamber. The action bears the standard Sako markings and is mounted with a Bausch and Lomb Balvar 5 2.5-5x scope. Mounted in a lightly figured multipoint checkered walnut pistol grip stock marked “KENNEDY” in the barrel inlet with rosewood forend cap and grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, polished steel cross inlay, blank initial oval, and blued checkered steel Niedner buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus factory quality refinished blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is fine with slightly hazy optics and a crisp reticle. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000

Engraved and Gold Inlaid Roy Vail Upgraded Zastava Mark X Bolt Action Rifle with Scope - Serial no. A5984, 270 Win cal., 24 1/2 inch chamber bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Built on a Zastava Mark X action, this rifle features no provision for sights with the barrel marked “Roy Vail” on a gold inlaid rectangle and “.270” on the left side of the action. The action retains all of the Interarms and Zastava markings and is fitted with a Redfield 2-7x scope. The trigger guard and floorplate display floral scroll engraving as well as a panel scene depicting a bear getting fruit from a nearby tree. The bolt body and extractor are engraved with a fish scale type pattern, similar to the visual effect of the jeweling process. The magazine floor plate and bear scene are outlined by a gold wire inlay. Mounted in a nicely figured multipoint checkered walnut pistol grip stock with ebony forend tip, engraved steel grip cap, gold inlaid initial plaque marked “DLM” and a basket weave buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall as upgraded by Roy Vail, retaining 99% original blue finish on the action and barrel as well as 99% plus refinished blue finish on the floorplate and trigger guard with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Stock is also excellent with a few minor dings and scratches and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is very good with slightly hazy optics and a crisp reticle. The action bears the standard Sako markings and is mounted with a Bausch and Lomb Balvar 8 2.5-8x scope. Mounted in a lightly figured multipoint checkered walnut pistol grip stock with ebony forend cap and grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, polished steel diamond inlay, blank initial oval, and blued checkered steel Niedner buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, a minuscule chip at the left of the upper tang, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is fine with some handling marks, slightly hazy optics and a crisp reticle.
