Cased London Shipped Colt Etched Panel New Line .41 Pocket Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 6700, 41 CF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish, antique ivory grips. Manufactured
from 1874-1879 with
standard features, the
two-line address on top
of the barrel, “COLT NEW
41” in an etched panel
on the left, and the serial
number on the bottom
along with London proofs
which are repeated on
the cylinder. The caliber
marking is on the left of
the frame. The matching
serial number is on the
left of the grip frame under the grip and the bottom of the barrel, and the partial serial number “700” is on the rear face of the cylinder. Includes a hardwood case with Colt London Agency interior label, cleaning rod, key, and ten .41 CF cartridges.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 80% plus of the original nickel finish with some scattered light flaking, a patch of light pitting/grey patina on the right of the barrel, and a crisp etched panel. The grips are fine showing an attractive aged appearance and some hairline age cracks. Mechanically excellent. The case is also fine overall with some scattered minor handling/storage evidence.

Attractive Cased British Retailer Engraved Colt New Line .32 Pocket Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 2255, 32 RF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., silver finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured in 1874
and subsequently period retailer engraved with 75% coverage broad floral scroll and nickel plated, likely by a London retailer. The top of the barrel has the two-line address and the bottom
has the serial number “1011”
and two British proofs. The chambers of
the cylinder have British proofs and the
rear face is numbered “2115”. The left side
of the grip frame and inside each grip
are numbered “2255”. The writer believes
the mismatched numbers are due to the
retailer reassembling mixed parts after
engraving/plating. Includes a leather
wrapped retailer style hard case,
a screwdriver/cleaning rod,
and six .32 RF cartridges.
CONDITION: Very fine as retailer engraved and plated, retaining 90%
plus of the silver plated finish with some scattered light flaking and a
few small thinned spots on the cylinder showing blue finish. The grips are fine with some scattered minor dings and light wear of the varnish. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some mild wear.

POLICE 38” is missing from the left of the barrel. The top of the barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. Co/HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A.” with the “U.S.A.” almost unreadable. Fixed blade front sight with notched rear sight, five round fluted cylinder, spur trigger and checkered grips with “COLT” at the top and
he cop and criminal at the bottom. Approximately 4,000 were manufactured between 1882-1886. ONDITION: Very good as period re-nickeled with nearly all of the nickel finish remaining and overall light scattered scratches. There is a small area on the left side of the frame behind the recoil shield where some
in prick pitting has been finished over. All markings, except mentioned above, are clear. The grips are fine howing little wear and a few scattered minor dings. Mechanically fine.

Scarce and Desirable Short Barreled
Colt House Model Cloverleaf Pocket
Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 6917,
41 RF cal., 1 1/2 inch round bbl., nickel
finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured in 1874, this is
an example of a desirable, short barrel version of the
Colt “Cloverleaf ” revolver. The patent date is marked in
the sight groove on top of the frame and “COLT” is on the
left of the barrel. The matching serial number is visible on the butt, bottom of the barrel, and inside of each grip panel. It is fitted with blade front
and frame notch rear sights, checkered trigger and hammer, and a pair of
smooth rosewood bird’s head grips.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 80% plus of the original nickel finish with numerous scattered dings visible on the left of the frame and some scattered light flaking and wear revealing an attractively aged brass or grey patina. The refinished grips are very good with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Colt New Line .41 Caliber
Etched Panel Pocket Spur Trigger
Revolver - Serial no. 6221, 41 RF cal., 2 1/4
inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, rosewood
grips. Manufactured in 1867 as a second model with
long cylinder flutes and locking slots on the cylinder back.
The barrel has the acid etched “COLT NEW 41” panel, is numbered to the gun and has the patent date marking on the underside.
CONDITION: Very fine. The barrel and cylinder
retain 80% bright original high polish blue
finish with flaking turned brown on the
balance. The frame retains 75% vivid original
case colors. The grips are also very fine with
some high edge wear and handling marks.
Mechanically excellent.

Colt New Police “Cop
& Thug” Etched Panel Pocket Spur
Trigger Revolver with Long Barrel -
Serial no. 15941, 38 CF cal., 6 inch round
bbl., nickel finish, hard rubber grips. This was the final revolver in the New Line series. Also known to collectors
as the “Cop & Thug” because of the scene embossed on
the grips of a policeman arresting a criminal. This revolver was manufactured in 1884. The etched panel reading “NEW
